I like the functionality of the search field a lot, but the actual search results are not fantastic. It brings up reasonably similar content, but the posts I would want it to show at the top are way down, and I found no way to finetune it to get better results.
It’s that I like the functionality of the search field so much that I haven’t switched to Ivory Search yet, which yields far superior search results. But as a search plugin, it’s honestly not the best. I think it would have to assess the content of the posts to get better results. I do hope you will consider adding that.

– with “seamless” on, it didn’t apply anything of my settings and my search page stayed the same
– with “seamless” off, my page search completely missed header/container, plus I didn’t see any heatmap or any search improvement
I won’t bother investigating as I will get the usual reply: “it’s your theme’s fault.”
Well, maybe it just isn’t, since this plugin is not been updated for a year and maybe, just maybe, it is the one with the fault in it.

My default search was pulling all sorts of pages, so imagine the mess. I just wanted the blog page to be in the search results. This plugin offers the option to pick from blog, pages and custom post types. Love it! Quite easy and fast to set up. Now my search results are pretty clean and precise! Thank you guys!

After it took me a bit to fully understand the plugin, I saw how amazing it is. The only issue I have with it is that it doesn’t display the content on search results that use shortcode. It shows the Title of the page, and the relevance %, but it doesn’t show the excerpt.

I’m using Divi theme (ElegantThemes) and only problem i had was with search result page and huge images (it was really ugly). I wanted to change this page and everywhere i check it was suggesting manually editing the code. Then i found this plugin and it saved me from a lot of problems plus i didnt need to manually edit the code. So big thank you from my side.
