I am receiving this error message now daily with my scheduled site scans:

What changed recently and where should I look to troubleshoot? I am the business owner, not a web developer or IT technician.
Thank you

Hi All,
I have a website with a custom user profile page with additional fields and I want to move the form with the button to Enable/Configure 2FA there from /wp-admin/profile.php page. Is that possible? If it is, then how can I do that?
Thank you,
D
I have a client who only wants 2 IPs to be able to access the admin and no one else. I have whitelisted the IPs they want, but cant see how I can do this using this tool. Is it it possible?
Every over IP can view the site, but this client is really strict on access and only want 2 IPs to be able to access the admin, any advise would be much appreciated. Thanks
]]>Hello,
I’ve been using your plugin for a while now and it works great. The only information I’m missing is which form is used to login. I have a shop and I would like to know if they use the form on the frontend, or use the wp-login (backend) form.
I haven’t been able to find that information yet.
Regards.
]]>Problem: “The code you supplied is not valid.” is displayed, when I try to do 2 factor on prod server.
This works on the local copy of the prod server. How can I trouble shoot this?
Steps:
1. Choose 2 factor mobile
2. Download google authenticator
3. Scan the QR
4. Enter the code from the google authenticator
This works locally. I check the plugin setting and those are identical. This is a multisite.
Please help
Hi there,
I’ve been using WordFence on this site for several years. But when I recently discovered your plugin and found it clean and handy, I just really liked it! So I wanted to switch. I disabled WordFence and simply uninstalled it (now I know that was too easy), then installed Solid Security and set it up according to the YouTube tutorial by Matt (WPress Doctor) – https://youtu.be/VL5j_YJgnLM?si=do_EBHzmkMeuXKVI
When I tried to login for the first time after setting it up, I wanted to set up 2FA, but after scanning the QR code and entering the code, I couldn’t get to the site. I disabled the plugin via FTP, but was still unable to load the site. I then tried using a hotspot on my phone and it worked. So it seems that the IP address of my WIFI router is restricted by a security plugin. I checked the settings – and by the way, I use Solid Security on other sites without any problems – but I couldn’t see what was wrong.
I thought it might be a conflict between Solid Security and old WordFence files. I read an article on how to properly uninstall WordFence, where I learned to install the Wordfence Assistant plugin to get rid of abandoned WordFence files and database entries, which I did, and it seemed to work (it said all data was deleted).
However, the problem reappeared when I tried to log in the same way as before and tried to set up 2FA. So I checked the log file and still found lots of Wordfence entries.
I then thought that maybe resetting Solid Security would help, and found that the site scan wasn’t working properly: When I run the scan, plugins, themes, WordPress core and Google SafeBrowsing all show a red X (no checks).
Okay, and here I am. I don’t know how to solve this problem. Please take a look – I really appreciate your advice.
Thanks a lot in advance!
Kind regards, Nic

The permalinks on my site seem to be changing automatically, this is then causing 404 errors for the button links as the relevant page cannot be found – it appears like this for example – “example.com/meet-client-2-2-2” and each page seems to follow this format with an additional -2.
at the moment the home page and privacy policy seem the same.
I asked my host company and we checked through the plugins and they highlighted there may be something with Solid Security causing this – please could you advise.

Hello,
I’ve set your plugin to use Google’s Two Factor Authentication.
It worked fine, but today I got the message that Two Factor Authentication was not working and I had to use a backup code.
Given that I use Two Factor Authentication to secure many connections and that I’ve never come across a problem with Google’s Two Factor Authentication not working, I’m wondering what this could be due to.
Especially since I switched to your plugin because of an intrusion problem with the AIOS plugin.
Should I be worried?

]]>Your plugin is good, I had a security problem that AIOS plugin couldn’t fix.
But once I installed your plugin, the problem was solved.
However, I can no longer use the FS Poster plugin to post my articles on different social networks.
And I can’t find a solution other than disabling your plugin every time I need to share an article.
Is there a solution to this problem?
Also, when I try to deactivate functions, like the firewall, I click on deactivate, but then everything freezes, I can’t save and after a while, the firewall option resets.
It’s strange.
Thanks for your useful plugin!

]]>I added the Solid Security plugin to a WordPress website as usual. The plugin is active, but doesn’t seem to work as normal.
On the dashboard is says: “No data” in the exclusions and the bans overview graph. Also, I can start a site scan, which starts with “Plugins”, but then nothing happens; it just keeps idling endlessly. Last, vulnerabilities are listed, but when I choose any action (deactivate or ignore) again the button starts to show moving stripes and then nothing happens anymore; it just keeps idling endlessly.
WordPress and plugins are all using the latest version. I use Chrome browser on Windows 11.
Any idea what is wrong? I’ve never encountered this before on other websites where I use this plugin. Thanks!
Best regards, Alex

I have 2FA on all my sites, today I had a problem logging in one of them. The Authorization code never arrived. I had to de-activate Solid Security, log in the old way, do my work, re-activate Solid Security and log out. That works, but it is rather bothersome.
1- How can I fix this?
2- I have to have email confirmation. How do I change the email address the confirmation is sent to?
Thanks for any advice,

]]>Hello!
I have an issue regarding the REST API restriction feature of solid security.
I think it is very important that solid security is able to restrict accesses to REST API for users since it also protects from user enumeration et.c. but…
In my case, that i run a woo-commerce store, it also blocks the “Price” “Stock” and “Search” sidebar widget filters that woo offers.
Is there a way or a script that could exclude these filters from also being blocked? I know this is related to the blocking of REST API requests through solid security because when i choose to allow it through solid security, customers can use and see the filters just fine.
Thanks!
