YOURLS Link Creator was out of date and I was looking for a replacement. Found Better YOURLS and it picked up where the other one left off and works without a hitch. Thanks!

Love it and the statistics reports I can run from having our own shorter helps with marketing!

If you use a plugin and it just works and you forget that you have it installed and working, that’s pretty much the definition of a 5 star plugin.
I installed this plugin years ago. I configured it to use my YOURLS installation and it just works. I’ve never had a problem with it.
If you use your own YOURLS then get this plugin. You won’t be sorry. ??

I have this plugin running on five different installs using my shortner and it works great. Thanks for your work on this plugin.

It’s a very good alternative to all the existing hosted versions – especially if you want to have the URL shortener in your hand.Gives you control and can make URL branding easy!

I’m using sharing buttons through the Jetpack plugin for the Word Press blog that I just set up. I already have an existing domain and server set up for a YOURLS account. This plugin made it very easy to connect the blog’s sharing functionality to my custom URL.

– Creates YOURLs links for all content using wp_shortlink ?
– Easily access link stats from the admin bar ?
– Only 2 options: domain and api key ?
– Multisite compatible ?
– Active development ?
– Add shortcode to theme ?
– Works on multisite ?
This works to add the shortcode:
<?php if (function_exists('wp_get_shortlink')) { ?>
<div><span class="post-shortlink">Shortlink:
<input type='text' value='<?php echo wp_get_shortlink(get_the_ID()); ?>' onclick='this.focus(); this.select();' />
</span></div>
<?php } ?>

Just one easily solvable bug as reported here.

Better Yourls have some great ideas, but without the display function <?php echo wp_get_shortlink(); ?> . If you can add that, I will give you five stars. ??
