Forget the expensive pay-every-month autoresponders like Mailchimp, Aweber, and GetResponse! What you want to do is try out the Free version of Arigato to test it out and then buy Arigato Pro so you pay one time for full features and you’re done. It’s a robust program free of bugs and will do everything you need it to. I recommend you pair it with an email provider like Google’s G Suite (just $6/mo) that will allow you to send 10,000 emails daily so you can grow to that level painlessly, otherwise you will likely run afoul of your website’s hosting provider who’ll usually want you to throttle way back on the number of emails you can send.
Arigato works well with the free membership site plugin Konnichiwa!, also by Kiboko Labs. Both together also work well with the free User Registration plugin which replaces WordPress’ klunky native registration process to allow your users to choose their own passwords and keeps them out of your Admin area.
With Arigato Pro you get great tech support by Bob, who you’ll notice all the other reviewers just love, and for good reason. He helped me several times and was most helpful. Thanks Bob!

Downloaded this plugin for a client. Functionality was good, exactly what we were looking for. Everything worked, and using it was easy. Then came an update, both of WP and our theme. That led to some formatting issues with Arigato. So, I contacted “Bob” at support. Excellent service. Response was fast, and the explanations and solutions offered were quick and simple. Now, everything is working great AND looking great.

Found this, and immediately got rid of all 3rd party/PHP mailing list scripts. This is an absolutely feature jam packed autoresponder, all within WordPress! Even better, it can still use 3rd party SMTP like SendGrid.
Also finally gladly deleted ArpReach of our server (which happens to be 10x more powerful then any 3rd party hosted solution). Seriously who needs separate scripts, when one can contain it neatly within WordPress. Less hassle.
Yes, has typical (1) Immediate broadcast, (2) Timed newsletters (3) Autoresponder based on timed sequence; can set by time, date of week, etc. (4) Tons of template options. Can also track open rate and also link-clicks.
Surprised this has so few reviews. Seems hasn’t taken off. Wish more know about it.

We needed to set up 2 autoresponders with different messages depending on what the user clicked on. This solved all our issues, converted to CF7 simply AND we were able to see in our email what the user chose.
Bob was around for questions and helped me with great advice. Love this plugin! Saved a ton of time instead of setting up accounts at the big email houses.
I wish all plugins were this easy. By far the best choice for autoresponders!

I purchased the Arigato Pro version over 3 years ago after using the free version. I’ve tested popular autoresponders including the Aweber, GetResponse, Mailchimp and some plugins. I’ve tested them all and Arigato Autoresponder for WordPress is the BEST.
Arigato for WordPress is the Absolute Best Autoresponder for everyone. There are NO limits to number of emails or email lists you can build and it is NOT expensive like the big 3 or plugin like mailpoet which purchased from a crook and ditched after 3 months of NO customer support — it was then I discovered Arigato Pro for WordPress and there’s no turning back, only building email lists — the money is in the list. And I get updates too.

I was fascinated by this plugin since it was a one time cost. I’m no programmer and it was damn easy to set an auto-responder campaign. The free version is limited, but if you’re ok to invest, their pro version is just damn good. I’ve their pro version which allows you to see if users clicked on URLs/links you place in your email. The only drawback, I would say is that it is not easy to compose html emails like mailchimp. But, if your intent is to keep in touch with your customers, this is the best tool in the plugin market. Trust me, since I had to search for this solution since I didn’t want to go for the subscription models. Also, please install easy wp smtp mail plugin along with this to work with your email (gmail, google apps account, yahoo, etc.) – This plugin is free.
I’ve to really thank these guys for solving my problems… Hope to get consistent updates like now…

I’ve been looking for a plugin that would work with my existing Contact Form 7 and help generate a further autoresponder(s) for ages. I purchased the Arigato Pro Autoresponder as it had facilities which I needed. It was clearly set out although I still managed to make a setting up error with my limited web/plugin skills. However I contacted the plugin support and to my surprise they responded immediately and the guy “Bob” was so helpful. I’m thinking they must be several Bob’s because he was so prompt with all my many questions and so patient. My sincere thanks for this Plugin which does everything I need it to do and more. In fact I probably would be as well to redo my contact forms and dump Contact Form 7 (no support available on that one) and just use this plugin. Thanks again.

This plugin is AMAZING! Does double-opt in with custom messages for FREE and there no user limits. Does just what I need – collects email and keeps them in a list. (Ended up not using double opt-in, but good to have just in case.)
In the list, shows the email, registration IP and registering date (Just the day, not the hour; by the hour would be nice…). Pretty nice.

Apart from the fact that this plugin is the most easy to install, the support I have been receiving it’s one of its kind.
I am a web developer spending over $2,000 monthy on premium plugins, servers, domains etc for clients. So far, the kind of incredible support I have been receiving is worth mentioning.
If you are looking for the best autoresponder, here it is. And the PRO version works better than it says. And I can assure it will be all you need with the support that comes with it.
I even sent them access to my database and they took their time to adjust a few stuffs my host couldn’t help me with.

I was interested to use an auto responder plugin with Amazon SES (using DKIM validation) and “BFT Autoresponder”, in conjunction with the “Amazon SES DKIM Mailer” free plugin, is a great combination. It just works!
For a good overview of DKIM and why it is important for the deliverability of your emails, google “Sending verified emails through Amazon Simple Email Service with DKIM and PHPMailer”.
As a comparison, the popular MailPoet does not let you use DKIM authentication, unless you buy pro version. And if you have a shared account (such as Bluehost), SMTP does not work (SMTP ports are blocked on shared accounts). You are stuck with either sending email using your account or using two reccomended email providers, which cost much more (10x) than Amazon SES.

A neat plugin that offers many of the capabilities you’d find in paid-for solutions. If you don’t need state-of-the-art capabilities, I’d definitely recommend trying this plugin.
I used the plugin for a week or so, then switched to the paid “PRO” version, which supports attachments in outgoing emails – an important feature for me.
Importation of my data from Aweber into the free version worked smoothly and switching to the PRO version was seamless.
It satisfies all my requirements for an autoresponder (which admittedly are humble) and enabled me to dump Aweber.
While even the PRO version doesn’t offer all the sophistication of Aweber, I got got tired of paying Aweber every month, and am finding I can do pretty much all I want with this option.
