Hello.

Since uploading my wordpress web to php 8.1, on my admin view the following messages appear and prevent me to use some features of other plugins. For other users or non-logged visitors, it turns up to appear like a blue belt above the web header.

I’ve been using BBB plugin for years and never had problems with it.

Please, can you help me or solve this one?

I was wondering if it is possible to use the category instead of the room token to dictate what is displayed in the room dropdown menu on the frontend? It would make things much easier if it was possible?

Also, how do I set up the API, I have found some information on it but nothing really tells you where to get the end point and shared secret to do this?

I don’t know how to use the option for waiting for a moderator.

I have as static frontpage and add added the widget for display room join field.

when click on join (and the moderator has not start the meeting) it redirect the user to such a link

someurl/?bigbluebutton_wait_for_mod=1&room_id=63563&username=test
and this url open a blog page which display latest post and nothing is shown about waiting for a moderator.

any idea how to use these redirect?

when trying to conncect the WP installation with the bbb Server, we get this error message.
Does anyone know how to fix this?
The strange thing is, the settings are working on two other systems on which we tested it. Just on the one where this should run in a couple of days, it does not work

We have installed bbb server, 2.3/18.04. I have a problem with recordings. They are only visible by demo meeting but not through wp plugin. Everything works well, but: Collapse recordings
This room does not currently have any recordings. I have installed the plugin on 3 different site, allways same. [bigbluebutton_recordings token =””] doesn′t help. Anybody else have same problem?

we use your plug-in on a multisite installation. As you have written, I have created a role with the Plug in Members with the necessary rights. Unfortunately, the user still has no access to the rooms

/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=bbb-room

The message appears: Unfortunately, you are not authorized to access this page.

Even if the user has administrator rights, he cannot display the rooms. Only when the user has super administrator rights he can do this.

Can you help me?

I’m faced with an Access Code issue where it’s visible to Customer role and not for the Instructor. Before the WP and some plugin upgrades it worked fine for Instructor role as well. Being a novice it’s a puzzle for me at the moment.

Hi I am trying to give another role (vendor admin) on my site access to create and use BBB. It’s a nonadmin role and I am using “User role editor” plugin but I cannot seem to find the exact capability that will enable this. I’ve enabled “manage_options” but I am still getting a “sorry you are not allowed to access this page” when the user goes to /wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=bbb-room.

I’ve also enabled all these bbb capabilities:

Using bbb + LearnDash. Wanted to know how to restrict the recorded video viewing within the platform only. Presently the link can be copied and shared, which makes it public. How to eliminate it, so that only the person who has subscribed to the course get the permission.

One more query is can content owner download the recording? If yes how to do it?

is it possible to set the recording auto sorting based on date in desc order?
Something like this?

If it’s possible, what would be the proper command to put in to the short code?
Please advise.

I know I can sort the recording list by clicking the column but would like to display the list automatically sort by date as default.

want to use the BBB-Plugin on a page with ‘Simple WordPress Memebership’. The problem is: after pressing the ‘Join’ button admin_url('admin-post.php')
is called but members are not allowed to access wp-admin.
By that, I can not use the functionality for members, only for admins.

Is there any way for workaround?

I find out this plugin makes wordpress notifications at the top of the screen as hidden. It adds display:none; to all wordpress div box with updated class after page load is finihed

Notifications shows on page loading but they were disappear after page load was finished

I tested it in two various website and it was same on both of them. when I disable “BigBlueButton” plugin, notifications show without any problem

As I mentioned in a previous post my client is in the initial phase of planning their LMS solution and is interested in using Learndash and incorporating the video conferencing ability of BBB.

I understand that there is a plugin for WordPress for BBB.

Looking for people who have performed this integration before to provide input on their experience and what it takes from a. configuration standpoint.

I’ve been looking for documentation on how the two (LD and BBB) tie together but haven’t found anything yet. Any help or direction on the topic would be greatly appreciated.

I understand that BBB requires it’s own server however I thought I read somewhere that BBB also offered hosted solutions.

Is there any truth to this?

I installed bbb on my wordpress site and I’m using the Capabilities plugin in order to let anonymous users join a meeting without entering the code. As the target group is not quite tech savvy, I’m trying to make the process as easy as possible.
Now I have the problem that the Join is enabled from the beginning, and in case the user won’t type in a name in the input form, he will be directed to the mainpage of my bbb installation and not directly to the meeting.
Is it possible to disable the button at the beginning and enable it once the user types in their name?

I really miss the function for creating meetings by users without administrator privileges. I would like to see a form to insert on the page.

A similar problem was discussed earlier in the topic https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/allow-non-admins-to-create-meeting-rooms-and-manage-recordings/. But the application structure has already changed.
