I would say its more a 4 star tool as many comfort features are missing, but it is somewhat easy extenable, so thank you very much! BBB has improved a lot over the last years and with the new HTML5 client i am back to using it on a regular basis

Plugin Version 1.4.6 works well on my WordPress Version 4.9.8 site using the test server installation AND also on a hosted server solution on Google cloud.
Just to be clear, this plugin is only for the button on your WordPress site (client). A Unix hosted server running the server software is required (server). I installed the Plugin and tested with the test server and then installed a hosted server solution running the server software.
Works fine if you have the time and patience to read all of the directions thoroughly.

The written tutorial for installation is useless.
The tutorial video for installing this plug-in goes into a little more detail but requires you to use a program called Putty. I was not able to get Putty to work on my computer, so I am not able to use this plug-in, even though I very much would like to. BBB needs to update its installation tutorial; the video was inadequate to begin with–it is only about 2 minutes long and gives no helpful details–and is over 6 years old at this point.

So, it is now Monday, 10:10pm EST and I left two support questions on Saturday 6:00pm after waiting four hours for my recording to show up on my WordPress page and it did not. It is now Monday and my recordings are still not there. Now they state that it can take awhile for recordings to show up but this is ridiculous.
I also inquired for help on their Facebook page on Sunday and no one has gotten back to me there either. If something doesn’t work and there have been a few things, do not expect to get any help. I am BEYOND pissed because four hours of recordings are gone. I do NOT recommend this plugin or this service, they both are terrible and just as bad as the customer service.

Thank you for this plugin, I like it.
But when I’m trying to use “Wait for moderator to start meeting:” the polling page isn’t refresh and the polling picture is not displaying. I found that the path of the picture begins with “./wp-content/” so it will work from the site root only (I have another special page for bbb).
And I found that I can not hide or delete recordings ??
And last, if you’ll be so kind to add “edit” to the meeting rooms list it will be great.

Ahora no conseguimos como eliminar las salas de reunion despues de usadas o finalizadas.

It really needs the ability to allow registered users the ability to create their own meetings.
I guess this would mean that WP would need to have a list of users and passwords along with what those users could administer in WP. I suppose this data could stored in the MySQL or whatever db is being used with the WP installation.

This plugin will give you a front page for your BigBlueButton server that otherwise is not an easy page to set up. You can have any number of WordPress sites that can access the same BBB server.
When I first set up the BBB server, I did manage to set up my own homepage, but was not able to include the record function of the conference. This plugin makes that a click of a button! Every week I am hosting several conferences that use this plugin without a hitch or a glich. Thanks to the BBB developers for making this available.
