I’m having accessibility issues since all of the footer widgets titles are h4 elements. How can I make these h2’s instead? I’ve tried filters and don’t want to use js.
Thanks!
Can you please confirm if this is compatible with PHP 8.2
Many thanks
Steve
Any chance of an update to this plugin?
The last update was two years ago. With 300,000 users, it is clearly a useful tool.
Hopefully, it can be updated and continue to work.

Hi,
I would like to ask does this plugin has ability to create table. I saw in your plugin screenshot that there is a table icon, but after I installed it, I can’t find it out. Please advise me, thanks.

]]>Hi,
i use wordpress version 6.0.1, php 7.4.30.
already activated but nothing difference.
Hi There,
there seems to be an issue with block based widgets.
Steps to reproduce:
– In the block widget editor add a Lagacy Visual Editor Widget. Update.
– Reload the Page.
– Edit the Widget and click “Add Media”.
– The Media Library pops up but with no styles
@see: https://pasteboard.co/VHeShTRQ5FEk.png
After some digging i found out that for some reason the media-views
style is not being enqueued.
The following piece of code (living in a mu-Plugin) fixed it for me:
add_filter('black_studio_tinymce_enable', function( $enabled ){
if ( $enabled ) {
wp_enqueue_style('media-views');
}
return $enabled;
}, 1000 );

Is this plugin still being maintained — I’m seeing messages on a client website where the plugin is installed that the plug is not compatible with the latest version of WordPress — and has not been updated in 7 months.
Trying to find out if the plugin is still being maintained?
Thank you
]]>Not sure what is causing this but we have been noticing the visual editor getting disappeared after a few days/weeks. Could be a plugin/theme conflict but not sure how to check for a compatibility issue as the issue just occurs randomly.
]]>I was trying to input my banner in our header and footer of CTR and I tried to use the visual editor and add media, but it could not affect the media library, and all buttons has beyond the layout.
I was trying to press any button which affected when I clicked to the media library, but no other effect either.
Please see what is the solution or, are you going to update the plugin.

Wordpress 5.9.1, PHP7.4, also with PHP8.
Disabled all plugins one by one until found that this plugin is the cause. Errors in the developer console.
Is anyone using this with PHP 8? I can’t find anything referencing if the plugin is fully compatible with v8+

]]>Hi,
All was well until about a week ago (sorry, I can’t tie it down to a specific event like a plugin update). Now, when I am logged in as Admin, most content on my home page is not showing – just a few headings. The page, built with Site Origin Page Builder contains Visual Elements and Site Origin Heros. However it does show correctly when I am logged out or in an incognito / private window. I have cleared all caches. When I deactivate the Black Studio TinyMCE Widget plugin, the page shows okay as Admin, but, as expected, I cannot make any edits to the Visual Elements due to the missing plugin.
Any ideas so I can continue to make edits to this page please?
Thanks,
James
]]>If you did NOT know, now Widgets are using the new Gutenberg blocks and they don’t display in the same way they used to do.
You can read more here: https://torquemag.io/2021/05/first-look-the-future-of-wordpress-widgets/
The problem is that the Black Editor plugin, does NOT display the section to write the text or HTML markup.
It only display the field to put the name and that’s it.
The field to put the text or HTML markup is gone and NOT available anymore.
Can you guys check this and verify if the black editor is working properly with the new block widgets on Gutenberg?
Because so far seems like your plugin is NOT compatible with this new Gutenberg interface.
See this screenshot: https://prnt.sc/1dzdm18

]]>Is there a way to change line height (gaps between lines) with this Widget when in main side bar. I am using Astra theme (not using a builder)
Don’t mind if they all are but perhaps nice if could choose.
I tried .widget_text p {Font-size:10px; line-height: 17px etc. in Main Custom CSS
this works fine & changed the OEM text widget size & line height but has no effect Black Studio TinyMCE
I would prefer to stick with this widget.
Is it just me? so few ask about this but the line spacing just seems so big.
I am making sure is a new line & not a paragraph. I know www’s should be clear & concise & not cluttered but seems gone too far.
I have limited knowledge of changing CSS but can do the very basics.
Thanks I/A
