Will you be releasing any updates for this plugin?
]]>Hi there
In WP 5.8 they’ve messed up the widget editing by making it blocks-only. This means that some of the older widget display-by-role plugins can’t be configured unless one uses the Classic Widgets plugin to revert the system back again to the old method.
I would rather keep the new block system because it is the way they’re going to do it in future. So in order to edit display-by-role permissions I’ve tested the Block Permissions plugin on block widgets, but it doesn’t quite work.
I can insert the Block Permissions as a widget and insert another block inside it, but when I save, it throws an error “The response is not a valid JSON response”.
I thought I’d check here and see if it’s something you can make work? It would be a great fix for the whole problem if it could be made to work.
Regards
Rob
Hi,
First of all, thanks for a great plugin.
Since WP 5.8 I cant select a date into the future when setting a date range. I can change to the next month, but not 2-3 months into the future, and next when trying to select a date it “jumps back” to the current month.
]]>Hi!
I am using this plugin but the feature “Hide” from “Member with selected user roles” is not working. When I chose any specific member role to hide from, the block is also hidden for not-logged in users. Suggestions what to do about this?
It has been quite a while since the plug-in has been updated, that is if it needs one?
WordPress is showing a nag that there have been several major releases of WordPress since this plug-in as been last updated?
]]>Hi,
Thank’s for this great plug-in, simple yet efficient !
One feature would be absolutly awesome, beeing able to show/hide according to logged-in user capabilities.
In terms of implementation, once we have selected “capabilities” from the drop down menu, a simple text field where we could type in the list of capabilities separated with coma would be perfect !

]]>I haven’t been able to stumble on a way to do this myself, but I’m wondering if I can drag and drop or otherwise move existing content blocks into a BP block. This would allow me to far more quickly edit existing pages and posts and add BP functionality without copying and pasting and reassigning the block type as I’m having to do now. Any ideas?
]]>I activated the plugin and tried to hide certain elements, but I don’t see any settings like you mentioned. Where are they located? Is there a conflict because of another plugin? (EditorsKit had a similar but limited function). Do I need to activate again?
Can you show with pictures in your gutenberg editor?
]]>The plugin doesn’t do anything or show any settings. Am I missing something?
Is the plugin broken?
]]>Hi, we have an education site and the editors must select the option “php_function” with several functions we have created, so they must remember the names of these functions, and can have mistakes.
Is it possible to add a filter to preselect the allowed function names? So that returning an array of names will display a drop-down instead of a text box. If the array is empty then the text box is displayed.
I would also like to be able to translate the plugin, please tell us if we can collaborate with spanish translation
Thank you very much and greetings
