Hello,
Thanks for your great plugin.
Do you think you could add the ability to choose when the animation is loaded ? (On click, on hover, on scroll on the element, on page load etc.)
Thanks!
]]>Hi!
I have been using your block animations for a while and love them. But I assume since two updates ago, one of the animations return after completion. And I wonder if something changed in how they use? It is the animation at the end of the provided link. It used to stay gone after “falling off” the page when the hinges animation completed. Now they pop up (return) afterwards.
But the animation works as intended on the edit page. But not on the published page.
The block structure is:
I’m currently running the latest version of WordPress.
Thanks in advance for any help! Headsup: I’m not very tech-savy.
]]>Hey there, I like this plugin and the simplicity of using it in the editor. However I was wondering if there is (or plans to add) a way to have the scroll in animation reverse on scroll out e.g. if a block fades in on scroll into view, can it be set to fade out when you scroll away again? (And subsequently if you scroll back to said block, it should fade in again)
]]>Hi,
I had another plugin for animations that was working well, but can’t find out how to keep it working with W3 Total Cache.
So I’m trying your plugin on a localhost version of my website (wordpress 6.6.1, php 8.2, theme child twentytwentyfour). I applied Fade in and Fade in Up to a text and a column. Delays and time are visible but the “fade” effect isn’t. It actually doesn’t work at all. I disabled W3 Total Cache and clear the cache for the moment.
I also tried it while having all my plugins and custom css disabled and it’s still the same.
Thanks for you help.
Hello, I am using the typing animation for a header in wordpress 2024
On desk top the animation works ok, but on mobile it is not working at all for me, the animation just glitches…
Please help!
]]>Hi,
We use this plugin on several websites and the error occurs everywhere.
In the block editor, the Animations tab is completely missing in the right sidebar: https://prnt.sc/3GuyoR3EsDIz
The previously created animations work, but we cannot create new animations on the tab, only by adding the appropriate CSS codes to the block manually.
We use Generatepress + Premium theme.
Please help me, how to solve this issue?
]]>Good Afternoon,
Great Plugin! I’ve been using your plugin for a while now and can’t imagine creating a site without animations from now on!
However, I’ve noticed an issue when viewing the site in mobile view. The animations seem to be causing a scroll-up issue where the site will randomly scroll back up a fair distance when attempting to scroll down. Do you have a solution for this?
Here is a link to a screen recording (don’t mind the music in the background, it was playing as I recorded):
]]>Hi Guys
Love the plugin.
In all versions previous to version 3 added the .animated class was added as the blocks enter the viewport for .FadeInLeft etc. .animated is not added in V3 so blocks are all missing
]]>Hi !
I think the plugin needs some improvements to display animated content if Javascript is disabled (may be by adding a “no-js” class and “no-js” styles to remove animations if JavaScript is disabled).
I am afraid that this can be bad for SEO and accessibility.
Hi! Was wondering if there is a way to have new text appear after a line of text is completed. Thanks!
]]>Hi there,
Firstly, thank you for using Blocks Animation: CSS Animations for Gutenberg Blocks.
Below, you will find some info about the support we provide via this forum.

When I installed your module, it started writing on the site page: Warning: Undefined array key “centralizedPosition” in?/…/ultimate-addons-for-gutenberg/classes/class-uagb-block-helper.php?on line?1610

]]>Hi, im trying to achieve – kind of a curtain effekt on images. But, i could not find the ‘outs’ in the toolbar. I can see in the .js there is also – slide-out-left, slide-out-right, slide-out-down, fade-out, …
but none of them are in the toolbar on gutenberg-blocks.
So, how can I activate the slide-out-left?

Hi, great plugin, is there anyway to animate the automated blog entries on an archive page? The same for each block would be fine,
Thanks

]]>I’m experiencing an issue with the mobile version of my website, particularly with this Animations plugin.
Whenever I reach the ‘I NOSTRI SERVIZI’ Section with four images, the animations cause an automatic and annoying scroll up situation (tested w and w/o animations, the problem is the animations) and quite ruins the mobile experience.
If anyone could help I’d gladly appreciate it.
]]>Hi. During every update, the plugin changelog links to https://github.com/Codeinwp/otter-blocks/blob/master/CHANGELOG.md Which is not the correct plugin changelog.
]]>Hi everyone! Thank you for the amazing work with this plugin ??
I just wonder whether it is possible to load the animation on Document Ready instead of Window Load?
FOr the above the fold object, the animation load very slowly and it is weird since it already load first.
Thanks :)!
]]>Hi,
If the animation is applied to a block in a content template (Element) of the GeneratePress theme, the animation or sometimes the block is not displayed when the page associated with the template is displayed.
This may be because the elements required for animations are not loaded in the page whose content is managed by the GeneratePress template.
Animation rendering works in template editing.
]]>Hello support
I have set up some animations on my homepage at the top in the “above the fold” area. All animations except one start when the page loads. However, a single animation does not start when the page loads, but only when you trigger a minimal scrolling movement.
But I don’t want it to be that way. All animations in this area should be started without having to scroll.
How can I solve this problem?
Many thanks for the help.
Best regards
Luke
Hello there,
I’m using the plugin on worpdress 4.6.2 with the Twenty Twenty-Four-theme with FSE. I added the “Fade In” Transition to the content blog between header and footer to have a nice animation when the page is loaded. If I’m at the top of the website, the animation works fine but if I’m somewhere in between and reload the page, the content won’t be displayed every time. Sometimes it works right, most of the times it fails. Sometimes it shows up for a second and then dissapears. I used Chrome and Firefox to check it.
I checked the forum already and didn’t find a solution yet. Any help is apprechiated. Thank you!
]]>I use this plugin on a couple of sites built with FSE, I notice that at the end of a page where animations are added, there’s some whitespace at the end in Safari or in an Ipad (Chrome and Safari).
When I inspect the page, I can’t see any padding or margin causing this, after disabling the plugin, the whitespace disappears.
]]>This plugin now applies a .fast class to elements set to animate at the “Fast” speed, but .fast is used by Font Awesome 6 Pro:
.fa-sharp, .fasl, .fasr, .fass, .fast {
font-family: "Font Awesome 6 Sharp";
}
This is breaking multiple blocks across our site, it’d be very much appreciated if this could be fixed.
Thanks!
]]>I have been using the animation script with FacetWP to animate post items and it stopped working since version 2.5.x. Is there any JS function that I can use to re-trigger the animation after the Ajax refresh?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
]]>I just upgraded to 2.5.0 this morning. But now the “Animation” option is no longer visible in the blocks panel. I confirmed this to be true even on a standard paragraph block, in addition to addons like GenerateBlocks where it used to be visible there as well.
I’m not sure if this is a bug, or if the UI has been reworked and I should be looking someplace else.
Thank you so much for such a great plugin!
Eric
When using text typing animation on a centered title, it does something weird at the end of the animation.
The caret disappear but the text move very quickly to the left then return to a centered position.
Can that annoying glitch be fix ? Or can I have a custom CSS that would prevent this from happening?
I can’t put the website link (for client data protection).
Thanks in advance!
]]>Hi, in Version 2.4.0 / WP 6.3.1. there is no chance to to set a delay or different speed in the settings-box of the count animation. It always switch to the default value.
]]>Hello. Just letting you know that your developer change-log link is going to the wrong plugin.
]]>I want to know if there is any way to add our custom rules as well, like I have a group with fade in up and it works really well, but also I want to add another animation while hover, e.g. ease-in-out for translateY(-20px) but if I do it only supports translate and leave the ease animation for some reason.
]]>The admin UX of this plugin is awesome!
I unmininfied the frontend.js
file and noticed that scroll sniffing is not using requestAnimationFrame()
.
Here’s an example how how we are doing it: https://custom.hbserver.dev/wp-content/themes/hoverboard/parts/header/header.js
Source: https://css-tricks.com/using-requestanimationframe/
I would love to help out writing this if you have the source js file to work with.
]]>When the element is animated in from outside of the viewport, the user sees a horizontal scrollbar on the page.
Here are some screenshots of it in action. Watch at the bottom of the screen for the scrollbar to appear:
You can also see it in action here: https://custom.hbserver.dev/style-guide/
I saw in this support thread that a fix would be html { overflow-x: hidden; }
but that would cut off any other elements that are wider than the viewport (ex: a table).
I’m wondering if a solution would be to temporally put the html { overflow-x: hidden; }
only during the animation? Do you have the source code of the javascript by chance? I could play around with it and submit a pull request if thats helpful. I am more than willing to contribute to the fix.
Thanks!
