Since I’m using WordPress 4.2.3, the ordering (Move Up/Down) of the users doesn’t work. Anyway I would like to display them automatically in alphabetical order. How can I edit the code to do it?
]]>Hello,
I’ve an author.php page which displays the single author’s information.
Is there a way to display here the author’s avatar and the icons with the links to his social networks pages?
Hello,
I would like to have the authors’ names linked to their profile page and also a link to their website. How should I edit the code?
Hi,
I would like to translate some words like “About” and “Latest Post” on the authors page.
Also, I would love to be able to add a custom picture to the users profile.
Could you make that happen?
To repay the favor, I can translate your great plugin to Dutch, if you have language files.
Lastly, the social networking pictures and the background pictures are not showing in my installation, on the “Authors page options”.
Thanks a lot in advance.
]]>Hi,
When I install the plugin I get “Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in /mnt/webq/c1/93/51969693/htdocs/ycons/wp-content/plugins/blog-authors/includes/shortcodehandler.php on line 53”
Any suggestions?
Regards,
Reinoud
]]>A suggestion – adding an email Icon among the Social Networking Icons, and link the Icon to a users e-mail address. Preferably a specific email field for this plugin, in case all users doesn’t want to show their address or give visitors the opportunity to mail them (but all users need an mail adress, as we all know).
Messy way of explaining my suggestion, I hope you understand it anyway.
]]>Am I correct in the assumption that the name that is show for each user is only their first name? If that is the case, it would be nice to instead show the public name (not sure what it’s called in English since I use a Swedish WordPress), but it’s the option found in the admin pages under Users, below the field for nickname. It would give the users a chance to choose what they want to be known as by themselves.
]]>When I use the option “Solid Color Choose Below” on the Author Page-option, the picker shows the correct color but the result on the page is transparency.
]]>Just a thought and maybe I’ve overlooked it, but the only place I found the shortcode [bauthors] to use the plugin is here on the plugin page at www.ads-software.com in the FAQ-section. It would be helpful if it was mentioned somewhere in the local installation, so to speak.
But I may have failed to see it. ??
Some settings aren’t saved, for example:
a) By default the embed settings/Embed enabled are enabled. When I disable it and press save, the page updates and the setting is enabled again.
b) Changing background color and shadow color in Authors page are not saved.
When I try to use this plugin on a page, the box becomes about five-six letters wide and a very long column.
