Hello Helen,
I am trying to change the hoover text color that is currently light blue in the menu bar and all sub menus. I have tried changing every color in the blue-admin-bar.css and have used the custom css from the blue-admin-bar-older.css in the new file. I am using the current version of Buddy Press Plugin and have also tried looking for it in the admin-bar-rtl.css file.
If you could please point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it.

I’m hoping for a dark orange bar, but the original bar color (that dark grey) for submenus.
