we would like to create a new event. Therefore we need to check whether the seat information match our seating plan. Unfortunately if you browse over one seat in the book a place pro editing mode the information is shown in a very transparent grey so it is really hard to read the seat information.

How can we solve this?

Nothing occurs after I put things in my cart and click the checkout button. I am running the latest version of WordPress 5.3.2. I don’t wish to purchase the product if I can’t checkout.

I will decide to buy pro version
But
When I use this version,
1- I can’t choose event time (I can choose only event date) also it looks my page: 00:00:00

2- I can’t give price my events or seats in anywhere? (not in scheme editor or event editor)

3- I did scheme, event and I pasted shorcode my page.
In my page there are no selectable seats. (There are only like picture)
Maybe it is about event or seat not have price. But in second question I couldn’t find whre I write event price.

If there will be fix, I will buy pro version.

When I select one square, they will all mark me.
The whole scheme is booking.

in my application it would be helpful, if a seat could also have the value “paid”. This value I would enter into the scheme, when a guest has paid in advance by bank transfer.
Before then, a seat is “reserved / booked” , but still subject to be freed again, in case the guest does not pay in certain time frame.
This would help keeping an overview in book-a-place without resorting to an external spreadsheet.

This additional status could be only visible in scheme view and not in event view (in case it is the same, then oh well, seeing it in event view would not matter either).

If you have questions to that suggestion feel free to ask questions ??

the variable <event_name> has no value (empty string that is), even though I assigned an event to an event scheme.

instead of the non-customizable form people get, when they checkout, it would be cool, if you could select a self-made Contact Form 7. And this on a per Venue Basis.
This way it becomes much more adaptable to different requirements withou you having to code contact forms.

I just installed version 0.7.0 and WordPress deactivated the plugin due to problems.
How can I downgrade, I don’t find previous versions.

I do have a back-up, is it just copying via ftp in the plug in directory?
The database is hopefully still intact.

Hello Old bookings are not erased frontend when I delete bookings in admin. Places still show booked frontend, what is wrong?

The plugin is very good.
I only have one problem, when the user reserves a place and confirms it, he completes his data and never sends the confirmation email. It can be fixed?. Thank you

Hello, am I correct in thinking there are no translations for this plugin at all? I don’t see any language option in Settings->General. Is there a way to do it manually if we want? (I’d like to have it all in Dutch)

I’ve installed BAP on a site that uses https, which seems to break links on the admin-schemes-list.php view. Clicking scheme title, edit or view causes “page not found” error.

I fixed this by editing the main class file, class-book-a-place.php, row 133. I changed
$this->page_url = 'https://' . $_SERVER['HTTP_HOST'] . $_SERVER['REQUEST_URI'];
to
$this->page_url = $_SERVER['REQUEST_URI'];

After the change all the scheme action links work as expected.

I am using this for a farm show and the map can not be replicated in boxes. I want to use the boxes to relate to numbers on a map. Is there a way to show the place number on the box without having to hover?

I’m working on a website for a little theater. I want a reservation system in there for about 13 shows. “Book a seat” is perfect for this purpose.

Now I will have an overview page on which the different ideas are listed. There I would like to indicate how many free places the respective shows still have.

Is it somehow possible to get that number from anywhere?

Hi, when using a theme called Hestia, https://www.ads-software.com/themes/hestia/ I get the following error show up on pages using Book a place: Sorry you can not add this place to your cart.

I only have one scheme per page. Can you give me any ideas on what triggers this error message, its hard to tell from the files as I am not a php coder, unfortunately.

I need to change the transaction id once the order has been made (l.1496)

I created a “transaction id” variable that is used once the client fills in his personal informations (l. 1162).

global $transact_id;
$transact_id= md5(uniqid(rand(), true));

Why $transact_id content is not visible/used for the checkout ?

where can I find more information about the discount or coupon system in the PRO version?

I have a theater, where each place has the same price (f.e. 5 dollar).

ticket buyers indicate with how much adults, and how much children they will come.
children get 2 dollar reduction, independent which seat they take.

I do not have seats for children and seats for adults, anyone can sit where they want.

I was wondering if it would be possible to do this with the reduction-system in the paying version of “book a place”.

Is it possible to add tables, doors, plants or other shapes in the floor plan other than horizontal and vertical cells? Or, ios there a way to hide the cells that I dont want selectable in the scheme?

Id like to add a picture, or an embedded image in an iframe, when hovering over a seat- prior to seat selection. Is this possible? How can I reference the image or HTML to add in the pop up that includes the status and price, ect.
Or include a link in the popup and will display the iframe.

I am having two issues with the expiring selections:

1. Can execute final checkout with an expired selection. This is true for all lengths of time, but I will give a simplified example.

Say we have 1 minute (60s) expiration value in our “Book a Place” settings
A user adds a selection to their cart (t=0s)
Then the user clicks the first checkout button and the dialog appears (t=12s)
As the user fills out the form, the expiration time is reached and their cart gets cleared (t=60s)
The checkout dialog is not impacted by this expiration, and the user is still able to click the final “checkout” button (t=65s)

Not only will allow them to do so, but it will redirect them to a page that says “Places has been successfully booked.”

The backend functions as expected and does not actually create this order (not listed under orders and no emails sent), but it is misleading for the user.

2. The displayed timer only counts down while the tab is in focus (note: with chrome developer tools open, it will continue counting down when on a different tab).

Without these two issues resolved, I am not sure this plugin should even offer the expiration feature. Please advise.
