]]>Hi,
When I add some sites to the Additional domains to block section and click save, after a day or so, they are gone and the section is empty again?
Thanks
]]>Can’t get the plugin to work on my multisite. Installed via ‘upload zip file’ method, then network-activated.
I’ve looked through the database and stepped through the code. The database table the plugin installed is named ‘wp_bot_block_block_list’. In the code, the data member ‘master_table_name’ has the value ‘wp_4_bot_block_block_list’ (4 is the blog ID of the site I am testing on), so the check to does_master_table_exist() fails.
Is this a known issue? Am I using it incorrectly? Is there a work-around?
–Thanks.

]]>Does this work on .htaccess and weblogs such as AWStats?
I’m manually implementing a referral spam bot in my htaccess files and was wondering if this would also work for something other than Google Analytics.
Thanks!

]]>I’m noticing that an Amazon S3 site I set-up is being labeled “Referrer” in GA.
I would NOT want this specific site to be erroneously misidentified as a spam traffic site, nor added to the spam database.
Would you add a whitelist feature so that I can identify specific URLs being flagged as “referrer”, but are in fact welcome traffic?
Thank you, Don

]]>I’ve tried filling out the Bot Block settings page https://events.stcwdc.org/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=bot_block several times but when I click the Save Changes button, I’m taken to a blank page: https://events.stcwdc.org/wp-admin/options.php
When I use the Back button to return to the page, it looks like the changes were saved but if I go to a different admin page and then return to the settings page for Bot Block, none of the settings were saved.
The Statistics box says nothing has been blocked yet.

]]>Hi
Having problems with referral traffic from rank-checker.online, Ive been through the two step process that you have a video on within the plugin setting page, however I’m still seeing the traffic coming in?
It may possibly be something I haven’t set correctly, however I’m fairly certain I have. Just need this traffic blocked its completely screwing up all of my analytics reports.
Thanks
Tom

]]>Hi there,
I am getting an error message when I have this plugin turned on (I also have WP debugging enabled in the wp-config.php file):
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /WWW/www.domainname/htdocs/main/wp-content/plugins/bot-block-stop-spam-google-analytics-referrals/bot-block.php on line 188
I’m using multi-site, the most recent version, and all my plugins etc are up to date.
Please advise,
Cheers

]]>Just installed your plugin and put the filter in place. Looking forward to hopefully see the cleaned up statistics.
From my untill now manually updated list of spam referrers I have these which you perhaps might want to include in the plugins block list: [Spam moderated, please use pastebin instead]
Hope this helps.

I’ve installed this plugin on a couple of sites. More recently I have installed this in Enfold and I’m getting this error.

My question is, how do I now remove these spammers that are already on my blog?

I installed Bot Block a few days ago and seemed to have no trouble visiting my site. Today, I tried to visit my site and was redirected to google.com. I logged into wp-admin and deactivated Bot Block, and was able to access my site again.

]]>Hi
The current version of bot block does not seem to be compatible with the latest version of wordpress.
Had to disable it, because in webpage mode it gave me a warning message at line 200 on top of the webpage.
Probable solution: New version of bot block that is compatible.
When?
Also, I am using https://nabble.nl/semalt/ to test blockers. At the beginning the debugger work. But now if I test different blockers it does not seem to work, which makes me think that maybe the wordpress system need to be purged of corrupting from different blocker programs maybe?
Another question is, do you update your blocker list frequently? The Piwik list on Github seems to get updated quite frequently, and is the one that is also linked to nabble.nl/semalt
Thanks for your help.
Otherwise, your strategy helped. My spam statistics are at a all time low. Just need to have bot block up and running again.

Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.
Fatal error: Call to undefined function curl_init() in /var/www/html/wp-content/plugins/bot-block-stop-spam-google-analytics-referrals/bot-block.php on line 453
The plugin was working fine for me until I transitioned from a shared hosting server to a VPS.
Is there something with my VPS configuration that could be causing this? Where would I begin to investigate this error?
Thank you.
P.S. Very nice plugin.
