The reason why I was hoping when I set a background image through ‘appearance> background’ that the text box would in fact stay white and look professional. It doesn’t and the image overrides the box which makes the text hard to read. Any ideas?
]]>Hello. I have noticed an issue when I am using WP boxer with “WPL Real Estate” plugin.
Some of the menu dropdowns on the admin side of the “WPL Real Estate” plugin cannot be opened. I inspected the dropdown elements with firebug and found out the CSS for the dropdown has a width of zero but that CSS rule is for WP Boxer that is somehow overriding the other.
I tried changing the CSS core files of WP boxer and it does have an effect.
Could you please take a look at the issue and help to solve this problem. I really want to use your plugin so deactivating it is not what I would prefer. I have already contacted the “WPL Real Estate” developers.
If you install WPL Real Estate, please go to WPL/Settings/Gallery and see the dropdowns.

]]>I have been using the Boxer Pro 3.0.0 for a while and it has become an integral part of our web design. Suddenly I have been experiencing an odd occurrence. Some, not all, of my content boxes, will not display on the page in which they are inserted. The boxes still exist on the site, they just do not appear in the browser. I have tried creating into a new box and inserting the content again, and it seems that I can insert the content into the box up to a certain point, then when I get to a certain point, adding any additional text in the box causes the box to not display. Then when I remove the additional text, the block displays again. I have checked for coding errors, and the text that I am putting into the box displays fine in a regular web page, so I am certain that there is not a coding issue causing the issue. Has anyone experienced anything like this? I have not added any new plugins, so I am not thinking that it is a plugin conflict. Thank you.

i have installed the plugin, but not appear “Boxes” in the dashboard and the “Box set”
We have installed boxer without (visible) issue. When editing a content block and clicking on the ‘Blocks Content Wizard’ button we get a new popup window with a permission denied message on blocks.php
To be more specific:
You don’t have permission to access /wp-content/plugins/boxer/framework/admin/blocks.php on this server.
Having checked the files they all have the permissions (644). In the error log we are seeing:
WordPress database error ALTER command denied to user ‘wordpress’@’localhost’ for table ‘wp_blc_links’
We gave ALTER permission and the error was not appearing any more but it still doesn’t work… Any ideas?

I thought this might be the one, but I can’t see a way to align a box/box group without it occupying the whole width of the page.
Is there a way to do this or am I barking up the wrong tree? I don’t want to have to customise templates to do this – I am just looking for a simple drop in and go solution…

]]>Hi, I have just started using WP Boxer and it has been great except for this one glitch. I have a list of our board of directors, and 4 of the 10 directors’ photos aren’t showing. They appear fine in the wp-admin side, I can set the photo as the featured image, etc., but it just doesn’t show on the actual live site.

I m using the boxes with title, foto and text underneath and would like to shorten the text and add a “read more” button to them.
When I try to use the build in “excerpt” what happens is, it will stop showing my foto and I can not control the lengh of text, when I click the corresponding link it tells me I was not authorized to make any changes to it (which does not make sence at all).
Is there another way to add “read more” widget to the text, which allows the rest of the text to fold out?

I love your plugin, and have been able to do exactly what I’ve needed with it so far. Just one question regarding margins before the boxes on pages: Because I have other plugins and custom type within the boxes, the shortcode on my pages is wrapped in a
tag. I believe this is causing extra lines of space or margin to appear before the boxes. Is this something that can be fixed in the plugin stylesheet? Thanks!]]>

]]>I have a Boxer installation on a WP Multisite with Domain Mapping. On my main Domain .de it is possible to show the boxer settings under –> settings –> boxer.
But on all the other (mapped) Domains it is not possible to confige the settings. Every time I want to configure boxer, it says:

Hi. I need a help with wp boxer plugin. Recently I moved my wp web from cpanel shared hosting to cloud server. From now on wp boxer plugin does not loading images. I have problem with my 2d slider and portfolio plugin, too, but this is the question for wp boxer.
