Hi,
I heard quite a lot about the features of this plugin ??
Unfortunately, this only works with BuddyPress. Is there a chance to make it compatible with BuddyBoss, too?
That would be awesome!

]]>Hi All
Many thanks for a great plugin.
Just a quick one. I keep getting the below error on the BP member profile activity page on first load. When I refresh it disappears. Would there be a quick fix for this by any chance?
Warning: Undefined array key "bpaf-default-filter" in?/bp-activity-filter/templates/class-bp-activity-filter-query.php?on line?161
I installed this plugin, and wondering if it will help with an issue I’m having. I want the main activity feed to show activity in private groups for members who are part of those groups. I thought this was happening, but it seems to have stopped on the live site. At first, I thought it was my caching plugins, as I saw the desired activity after I removed those plugins, but this evening, test posts from the main activity wall might blip in the My Groups sub view of the main activity wall, but not only disappear again, they don’t show on the all members tab.
I’m wondering if your plugin can be used to force visibility of private group activity to members of such groups when they view the all members tab of the main activity wall.
]]>Hi, I understand this plugin doesn’t work with Buddyboss Platform, and they have some filtering options. But they don’t have the option I want, i.e. to be able to filter out activity notifications from Buddypress Docs – it looks like your plugin can do that on the Enable Post Type Activities screen. Is there any chance you would consider supporting Buddypress Platform? (If there is a potential conflict, could your plugin disable Buddypress Platform’s filtering and replace it with your own, which is more comprehensive?)
]]>Hi there,
Thanks for this plugin, helps a lot.
I do have two questions though:
Is there a way to link the featured image in the activity stream to the post (as the title does)? Currently the featured image has no link on it to the post.
Also is there a way to add a “Read more” buttom under the excerpt which, as well, links to the post?
Help much appreciated!

]]>Can this plugin stop the activity feed from showing posts from unconnected members? I want members to see action inside groups they are part of whether they are friends or not. But I don’t want members seeing action inside groups they are not part of, nor general activity from members they are not somehow connected to.
]]>Hi
Nice thought behind the plugin but it is not working as expected.
I am trying to remove all the group updates from main activity feed, however it is still showing them.
How to fix it?
]]>Hi there,
I enabled WP_DEBUG and I have some PHP Notice:
Undefined index: bpaf-default-filter in /home/rasascho/domains/rasaschool.org/public_html/wp-content/plugins/bp-activity-filter/templates/class-bp-activity-filter-query.php on line 122
Please advice me.
Regards,
So Mine is a custom post type and it is user-generated and we review and make it live on the website. The problem is the name is correct that is to the assigned author but when you click on the link it takes to admin. Also in the post count and activity of friends I cant see posts of the assigned author as it is assigned reviewed by admin.
Can you help me on that part
]]>After activating the plugin, the activity tabs all show the same activity feed items.
I have the latest BuddyBoss platform running, with the option “Display activity in separate tabs based on activity type” checked.
I can have it unchecked now, because the tabs don’t show the specific items anymore.
Hi guys,
Great plugin! But I was wondering if this improves performance? Are hidden activities removed from the MySQL queries (so lookups are faster) or are they removed after the lookups are done?
Do you know of any way to remove unwanted activity types from the feed which will also improve performance?
Thanks!

Hello,
the plugin is great, but it’s kind of useless right now, when I click on a filter(f.e. Updates) it works just fine… but when I click on “load more” it ignores the filter and
it loads everything.
Any idea how to fix it?
]]>Hey folks,
i just tried using the plugin and found that it doesn’t seem to pick up an activity type called “Member Location” that’s created by Geo My WP.
Is there a way to add this type to the list of filters?
Thanks!

]]>Hi, as per one of the screenshot, “Post” should be able to be selected at “Display Activity”. However, that selection is not available.
Can this be resolved?
Hello I use the Buddypress Activity Filter plugin. It’s really nice, exactly what I need. But when I want to post an update. All my other updates will duplicate when I post it. Only then, cause when I refresh the page, all the duplicated will be gone. How can we fix this? Cause it looks a little strange.
Thank you!
]]>I’ve a big problem with my buddypress social website and I’ve been working on it for a day without results. In the activity stream I can’t see all the user’s updates. The website show the first ten user’s updates and then I have to click on a button: “load more” ( https://snag.gy/wbLAWG.jpg ). The problem is that when I click on it an error appears ( https://snag.gy/pyToFP.jpg ). The error is this: “Sorry, no activities were found. Try with a different filter.” I wrote it to the buddypress assistance. They told me that I probably had a Javascript issue. So I have been trying to find any error on the site with the wordpress assistance but couldn’t find any, actually. Everything seems to be working fine and I couldn’t see any JavaScript problems. I tried to change the theme and put 2016 but the error was still there. After I deactivated the plugins one by one to see if the error persisted and something strange happened: I disabled your plugin. I reloaded the page and on the first try the error disappeared and loaded all the other posts. However, since the second attempt did not work. I tried to completely delete the plugin but it did not change. I reinstalled it and still nothing. now I tried to test with new users and the same thing happens: on the first try the other updates are loaded. On the second, the same error appears. What could be the problem?

]]>Hi there,
I’ve noticed when setting this up that group sub comments (second level comments) freeze when clicking the ‘Post’ button. I’ve narrowed it down to this plugin. Running the latest version of WordPress, Buddypress and this plugin at the time of posting this thread.
I would love to continue using this but it’s not usable at the moment. Is this a bug that you’re aware of? I’m happy to provide more info to help debug, just let me know.
Thanks,

I’ve installed this on two different sites running buddypress, both multisite enabled.. I don’t see the options anywhere.. not under network admin / buddypress / options tab..
not under dashboard / activity
Does this work with current wp / bp? does it not work with multisite / superadmin privileges ?

This plugin doesn’t seem to be filtering any of my activity feed. I am using the latest version of the plugin. I have it configured to pretty much only show what users physically type in (like a social media site), but everything shows up in the feed. Any ideas on what I can do to get this to function with my site?
