And of course this plugin hasn’t even been updated in a long time, so it’s probably not going to work with the latest versions of WordPress. I’m guessing “Brave Rewards” was a scam/gimmick to make the browser users feel all warm and fuzzy like they were doing a good thing, but keep their system broken enough to ensure that most creators never actually saw a dime.

Simple and easy-ish. Plugin configuration is super straight forward.
However, as it didn’t work in a flash, did some troubleshooting. The plugin description is slightly misleading by stating “This plugin creates the /.well-known/brave-payments-verification.txt file”. Strictly speaking it does not create this file physically. Instead it creates a modrewrite on WP level. And the verification process ain’t instant (as it is with google meta tags for example); patience is a virtue. After 8hrs of waiting my site was verified.

This plug-in lets you register your page as a Brave Publisher. When you sign up as a Brave Publisher, people can auto tip you when they spend time on your website.
This plug-in is easy to install and quite simple to use. I love it and have earned a few dozen BAT tokens since I installed it.
