I came to your plugin after the themify recommendation.
My question is about the menu breadcrumbs and if it is supported by this plugin.
All I want is for the menu trail that led to a page to be shown. For example, I am at the homepage of my site, I select “Products & Solution”, then “Diagnostics” and then “Clinical Diagnostic”. By the time I reach “Clinical Diagnostic” I would like this menu path to be displayed on the breadcrumbs.
I know that the “Products & Solution” is just an unclickable link, but I wouldn’t mind being at the path, even as unclickable.
So far, all I got was just month and date trails, although I followed themify’s suggestion: https://themify.me/blog/add-breadcrumb-navigation-themify-themes
Any help or suggestion? Is it possible?

Hi, thanks for your plugin. I’m currently testing it on an Elementor website, using the shortcode.

I have 2 issues that I couldn’t solve with the padding and margin fields of the plugin: I’d like the breadcrumb to be aligned left, without the margin that you can see below (red line).
I would also like to vertically center the text that is into the breadcrumb elements.
I tried to use custom CSS but I didn’t succeed.

I have structure like this: domain.com/blog/cricket. But for post it looks like this: Home => Blog => post title. And i need to add sub category “cricket” to this list. How to do it? I want it to be like this :Home => Blog => Cricket => post title. Maybe Category Ancestors – but here i have to write taxonomy. Help me please.

On my homepage, the breadcrumbs is not there. On every other page the breadcrumbs are not colored. How do I fix that?

I have breadcrumbs across my site, and just recently they stopped displaying on my Posts page.

They were working previously, and then stopped. I’m not sure if this happened around the time of the most recent update and database upgrade.

If you inspect the source of the page between the description under the heading and the grid of posts, you’ll see that the tag for the ordered list to hold the breadcrumbs is there, it’s just that there’s no content inside the list.

The breadcrumb template is set for the Blog page, with Home followed by Custom Text. Other settings for this don’t make any difference.

Any idea how I can get this working again?

I’d like to use the Custom Text property for the Post Category. I want to be able to put in my own custom link structure for the Post Category rather than the default /category/category_name.

Is there a shortcode I can use to access the post category within the custom text field? eg. [post_category] or something like? Does the custom text and custom link recognise short codes?

I have a custom post type ‘Resources’ with a custom template assigned in the Divi Theme Builder. So the front end URL is example.com/resources

The breadcrumb

is blank.

The breadcrumb is correct on any individual Resource CPT, but on the list of all CPTs it is blank. I have tried changing the permalink structure to /%category%/%postname%/ but that did not help. I also tried manually populating “Resource Categories” and “Categories” with custom text, but those actions did not help.

Is this a known issue? Can you advise?

The site is a site about ferry’s. Mainly in Europe. We added travel routes as products and for the countries we’ve used custom pages. We would love to use these custom pages in the product breadcrumb though. For Norway this worked with Custom Text + URL. But we want to do this for more countries. Is it possible to create more custom product breadcrumbs in the Pro version of the plugin? Or do you have any other idea how we can make this work?

In the current setup it only works for one country, we would love it to work for more countries.

I don’t want to copy “header.php” in folder, in case I miss Twenty Twenty-One theme future updates.

In a custom post type the original slug is showing in the breadcrumb (product_type) even with a URL rewrite in place for product-type. How can I make the breadcrumb show the correct text with the hyphen and not the underscore?

I’m creating a tourism promotion site, and I’m having trouble with the breadcrumbs on my website. All my products have several categories and subcategories.

The problem I have is that some of my products have the correct breadcrumbs (category [large territory] – subcategory [region] – subcategory [city] – product name), and some other products only have them (category [large territory] – subcategory [region] – product name). I don’t know what happens, because in all products, the parent category is the same.

I have the breadcrumbs with yoast, as well as my template which also accepts them. I have tried to use external plugins, but the problem persists.

We are running a multi-site instance of WordPress and have discovered two issues:

1) Out of the box, breacrumbs are displayed with the default. Building your own breadcrumbs via Breadcrumb Settings > Builder also works. However, removing the Builder customization should put things back to default but this doesn’t work. Instead, the breadcrumbs do not render correctly. It appears something is getting “stuck”, perhaps in the database? We could re-style with CSS, but the expectation is when there are no entries in the Builder, the defaults should render.

2) Breadcrumb Settings > Custom Scripts > Custom CSS: When clicking in the text box the following CSS shows up

The above code must be deleted in order to enter additional CSS. The Custom JS box works as expected.
