Can you somehow fix it – in your plugin – so that it should not appear on the final screenshot of the site?

thank you so much for this plugin. I am happy I found something that doesn’t need payments for traffic or anything.

To my question: I made some screenshots by using the PHP function. Later I inserted a delay, so websites could load fully, before taking the screenshot. Otherwise design elements were missing from the screenshots.

This works fine, but old screenshots already made without the delay don’t show the full website of course. How can I update or delete old screenshots, so the script can create a new one?

The plugin works great, thanks! I notice that there’s a space in the class name “browser shot “. This is making it difficult specifically target with a CSS Selector. Could this be fixed? Thanks.

Is there a way (CSS?) to make the shortcode center on the page as opposed to being left aligned? I did not see that as a parameter and just centering the shortcode in the page code did not do the trick. I know just enough about WordPress to be dangerous, so your help on this would be greatly appreciated.

I’m using www.ads-software.com 6.0 with Browser Shot (installed and activated) in a web page. On an otherwise blank page, I’ve tried all three versions of the shortcode code given in the documentation:

With each, I just get an error 404. What am I missing ?

As a follow-up, where would I find the images I create? Which website and where on it? When it works, am I given a link to the image ?

This happens only in RTL websites and started only recently.
There is a weird gap in the left side of those images.
I tried to generate the screenshot with my won code snippet but it is still happening. Any ideas why?

I have created custom fields with Meta Box, one of which is a website URL. I would like to be able to use Meta Box’s shortcode in the Browser Shots Gutenberg block (or any other shortcode that diplays a URL, like ACF).

Better yet, maybe the Browser Shots image URL field could have a selectable dynamic data option, perhaps similar to KadenceWP’s implementation of dynamic data in their various blocks.

I would like to use this plugin to generate thumbnails, how can i do that. Even if it doesn’t regenerate every 24 hours its not a big deal. I just want this to generate images, get saved in my local database and i get to use it thumbnails. How do i do it?

You say several times in the forum that the plugins relies on an external service to make the screenshots, but which service/site is that ?

Also, once generated for a given external URL, is the image copied locally and use from my site ? or reloaded everytime from the ext service/server ?

So, I work for a church and we have a report that pulls into our website from excel. We want to be able to create a screenshot of that page by using your plugin in order for our tech volunteers to put it into our announcements each week (the excel file loads to slow for the page to work in our presentation software).
Is there any reason you can think of that the screen grab would be happening before the page finishes loading? I’m including a picture of what the page should look like… The link goes to the screen grab page.

I added this new testimonial this morning. When I inserted the Browser Shot using the block from the block editor I was able to add the URL and the dimensions in the right column. However when I tried to add a caption I couldn’t get into the editor. I then tried to change the dimensions and in doing so inadvertently added “360300” as a caption, which I am now unable to remove. I am also unable to select the block at all, so can’t even delete it and start again. I generally use Firefox but have tried in Chrome with the same result. I think it has probably been caused by a recent update to WordPress?

Hi, i have 3 shortcodes on my gallery page but when displaying the third one i receive ‘too many requests’ on firefox and chrome. How do i work around this?

I use this plugin on several sites but all of a sudden it’s failing to retrieve the screenshots from the external service and is just displaying ‘Generating Preview…’

I’ve reproduced the problem with a free WordPress sandbox site (see the URL) so I don’t believe it’s a problem with my own infrastructure.
