I had some trouble installing this plugin. probably because of a conflict with the Enhanced Text Widge-plugin (not quite sure). But after deleting that, this plugin works fine. Very happy to see it work, this is an extremely useful plugin (and there are no alternatives, as far as I know).

One thing to note, in the Other Notes documentation for creating a BuddyLink the sample link is incorrect, it states:
[buddylink bmlink=”activity” bltext=”your activity page”]
it should state: [buddylink bllink=”activity” bltext=”your activity page”]
so it’s bllink not bmlink… to create a BuddyLink

By design, I have disabled the WordPress top menu for a host of reasons. That left one problem regarding Buddypress, that being most plugins and php solutions seek to add buddypress links into that same WordPress bar.
I searched for hours before finding this plugin and in all honesty, I don’t typically have time to write reviews, however this plugin gave me cause to let everyone know how wonderful I think this product is.
It truly did exactly what I was needing to accomplish and more. This functionality should have been built into buddypress to start with!
