Hello,
plugin doesnt work with new WP, apparently.
System showing this Warning:

Warning: array_key_exists() expects parameter 2 to be array, string given in /data/www/rockandpop.eu/www.rockandpop.eu/wp-content/plugins/buddypress-like/includes/like-functions.php on line 35
Is possible fix it somehow from your side?
Thank you.

Activating this plugin resulted in an internal 500 error. Resetting my plugins via this Article was the only way to fix it.

After i activated the plugin my site became a empty blank white page. That was it, no control panel to deactivate the plugin, nothing. I had to go to my website hosting control panel and manualy delete the plugin files. I forgot to do a backup before installing the plugin so imagine how i felt. But yeah, “don’t try this at home” !

Now, for the first 2 users who liked the post its showing Username of who liked …..but after that its shows only the numbers (how many ppl liked it) not the name who liked it….!

Works perfect on my site. Running WP 4.2.2

Works great! My users can see how many people like their statuses, unlike with favorites.
The hide favorite button didn’t work for me but I just did it with CSS.
Only wish now is to have an option to email when someone likes a status (maybe like a digest of up to 1 email a day so popular statuses don’t get spammed with emails)

This is a great plugin that seamlessly integrates likes into the activity stream across buddypress. Settings are intuitive and easy to follow giving great flexibility.
To check it out in action visit [ link redacted, please do not post links in reviews ]
A really needed add on to this plugin is the integration with buddypress email notifications allowing users to get notified when someone likes their post to drive traffic back to the community. I would love this to be in the core or to know how to make this happen!

Huge improvement.
Slight issues…when it posts to the activity saying “[somebody] liked [something]” is can look messed up. It also broke my ReShare plugin.

The plugin has been tested and should be working fine for most users, I’m focusing on fixes for now.

This plugin works for me.
The below issue is (or is about to be) fixed:
<s>I’ve rated it three stars instead of five stars though, due to a bug which I describe below. If you let me know when the bug is fixed, I’m happy to bump my rating up to five stars.
There are two instances of wp_register_script() in the plugin in which the arguments appear to be the wrong way around.
The codex indicates that this is the correct order:
wp_register_script( $handle, $src, $deps, $ver, $in_footer );
But the plugin uses this order:
wp_register_script( $handle, $src, $ver, $deps, $in_footer );
I’m guessing this will cause the plugin to break on sites which don’t use jQuery and it causes a PHP error to display, due to it attempting to read an array as a string.</s>

Hi, great plugin and deserves more stars then previous post suggest.
Few things that would improe it for me are:
Option to remove like counter from button
Since that info is created as a seperate line: you and x others liked this post, making it obsolete for me.
Widget
I would like to have a most liked author or post widget
Profile info (Buddypress)
What did a person like, what is liked of a person.
BBpress integration
If you can make the like appear on forums it will be a winner and I would happily pay for this plugin.
Already a good working plugin that I like a lot, but these improvements would make it awesome.
Thanks for this plugin.

Update – Works awesome, have no problems with my site and great plugin for buddy press, improves greatly on standard install.
Previous version had some issues with wordpress core.

I installed it and used it for a bit but noted a broken slideshow driven by Jetpack that would no longer work. It displayed the error message that javascript was required.
After deactivating this plugin, it went right back to normal. I’d love to see a fix on that – it’s a good plugin otherwise.

This Plugin has brocken my Theme. Be careful!

The remove “Favorite” option didn’t work. Additionally, it conflicted with the BuddyPress Activity Privacy plugin. I hope the author continues development.

I saw the same thing on the last few minor versions of WordPress too:
TypeError: jQuery(…).dialog is not a function
This breaks all jQuery on the site it seems.

The other members are now receiving that their activity is liked. So much improved since this was one of my concerns I express to the Authors…for future I would like to see a subnav menu for the likes or recent likes title to replace the favorites. Glad to see the that the favorites line gone…Great Job
