]]>Hiya
I’m using Membership 2 Pro registration form.
I added this line to my child theme’s functions.php:
add_action( 'signup_extra_fields', 'tv_bp_avatar_upload_form' );
But unfortunately, this breaks the reg form, and on submit causes it to go back to the pristine state.

]]>I have seen in my webpage that when a user uploads a picture to his profile, the following user to sign inherits that same picture if it does not upload one when registering. We have seen happening twice a user signs in with a picture, the second user signs in and inherits that picture as well if no picture is uploaded.

]]>Hi
Where can I alter the max file size uploaded with this plugin?
Buddypress was previously limiting file uploads to 2 MB. I have increased this limit by setting define(‘BP_AVATAR_ORIGINAL_MAX_FILESIZE’) in wp-config.php.
But that doesn’t seem to affect this plugin. Files uploaded through buddypress-upload-avatar-ajax are being limited to just 1 MB.
Where can I increase this please?
Thanks

]]>Hi HuuHa,
Great plugin!
Few things I wanted to bring to your attention;
1. The plugin doesn’t seem to work when tested on iPhone 4s. Not sure about other Smart Phones. When clicking ‘Upload Avatar’, on iPhone it causes just a page scroll event.
2. “Avatar” has been changed to “Profile Picture” in recent a BuddyPress update, which may cause confusion for some users. However, BP-Help’s suggestion would also address this.
Thanks again for creating this plugin!
Regards,
Carl

]]>Hello,
It’s Marc, I am an experienced wordpress user but I am not able to upload the Avatar in the extended profile. I am using WordPress 4.0 and Buddypress 2.1.1.
I try it on my VPS and I try it in localhost. In both cases I don’t seem to find the place to upload the picture. In the dashboard – user area there is the option “delete” but I never uploaded the picture. If I try to go on with delete it says “There was a problem deleting the avatar, please try again”.

I did try to upload pictures when registering with Buddypress Upload Avatar Ajax 1.0.1. But they never get upload. Just during the registering moment it seems to work but then they don’t exist.
I don’t know if it is about permissions but I can upload pictures in the media gallery.
I tried changing the theme (which is wp-bootstrap) but the same thing happens. Here there is a screenshot.
Please, tell me what can I do to fix it or if I am doing something wrong.
Cheers,
Marc Miquel
PS: “Buddypress Upload Avatar Ajax” upload the pics in a folder during the registration as I checked right now. But then they don’t appear in the profile. Plus, the tab associated to user profile area “change…” does not appear. What could it be? I tried with a new wordpress and theme and it works, so it must something related to my specific combination. I deactivated all the plugins besides buddypress and this one, but still, it does not work. I am afraid using super caché before or any security plugin broke my wordpress…Any idea?

]]>Hi there,
I deactivated then reactivated the plugin, to test something else that was not working, and now everyone who has already registered but not uploaded an avatar just shows their name, rather than the generic avatar previously provided with your plugin. Can you help me to change this back? Please see members at the bottom of this page: https://www.mutlikeme.com
Thanks!

]]>Great plugin and gave you a 5 star review as well. This is more of a suggestion than an issue so here goes. I would like to see an option built in the dashboard settings to make uploading the avatar required or not by the admin. I also would like to see a localization file included so that the text can be changed to suit everyone’s needs so instead of displaying “Upload Avatar” you could use PO Edit and change it to “Upload Profile Photo.” Either way, great job on the plugin as it was much needed! ??
