Hi,
Thanks for this great plugin!
Would it be a simple addition to add a download link to the modal window in addition to the ‘view’ link that takes you to the listing screen? That would cut down the steps needed to get the zip file, but the listing page would still be there for historical files.
In my case, it’s only certain images sizes that I want to download. I’m resizing images to be used in emails, so I only need the image sizes that I’ve registered. The original isn’t needed as I’ll be uploading to the media library and then downloading the scaled/cropped file to use directly.
Would it be possible to add some kind of filter to remove the intermediate images checkbox in the popup and specify which sizes should be included directly?
Do you have the plugin repository for pull requests?

]]>Hello,
Great plugin! Thanks for sharing!
I’m wondering if it would be possible to have the download capabilities extended to the frontend. For example, a list of attachments with the ability to generate the download on the frontend? Or another possibility may be generating a zip folder link download for attachments meeting a certain criteria (e.g., most recent attachment from each post of a given category).
I apologize if I’m thinking too far outside the scope of this plugin, but I hope you consider implementing such features or point me in the direction of some way to do that.

When we try clicking the download button, the browser either gives an “ERR_INVALID_RESPONSE” or pulls up a “blank” page on our website. We thought maybe this was related to our Permalink Settings, but are unsure how that would affect this plugin. We’re using “/news/%year%/%postname%” for our custom permalink settings. Do you know what might be going on here and what the download link format should look like?
]]>I use the Gutenberg plugin to test upcoming features before they are released in new WordPress updates. When the Gutenberg plugin is enabled, I cannot bulk download media with Bulk Attachment Download. When I click the download link on Bulk Downloads, I’m taken to a post page with no content and no link instead of seeing a download pop up. Disabling the Gutenberg plugin restores my ability to download the files.
Currently my site is on Gutenberg version 10.6.1 and version 1.3.1 of your Bulk Attachment Download plugin.
I know you don’t have any control over the Gutenberg plugin, but I wanted to flag this as a potential problem as the Gutenberg plugin should just contain features that are being tested for WordPress Core 5.8.
Thanks
]]>Hello,
This plugin is great and works very well. The only thing that I miss is the possibility of doing the download directly from Grid View (instead of having to go all the time to List View).
Is this a functionality you are thinking to implement in the near future?
Thanks.
Recently I am getting this error:
No valid files selected for download.
WHen I am trying to download files that were uploaded to the media gallery through a formidable form. I havn’t gott this error before. Any ideas

]]>Hi,
I’m using the Bulk Attachment Downloader and find it extremely useful. Thanks you for making it available.
I’m trying to remove the admin submenu item “Bulk downloads” from the Admin Menu (Media ==> bulk downloads) for the Author role and need some help to do this, please.
I’m using the code:
remove_submenu_page( ‘edit.php?post_type=jabd_download’, ‘jabd_download’ );
I’m using it in a function in my functions.php file, but it’s not working. Is this the correct syntax and slug?
Thanks you.

]]>Would it be possible to be able send out a link via email to download a zip generated?
Wehen clicking Download, we get some options on screen, we would like one of those options to be “via email”, we enter an email address and it then sends the download hyperlink to the recipient.
Many Thanks
]]>Hi,
first off, thanks for this plugin that adds a functionality which should be available in WP right out of the box.
Now, the reproach :
I noticed that the archives are created in the plugin’s directory. Don’t you think they should rather be placed in the wp-content/upload directory ? You could have you own directory there, preventing the archives from showing in the media library.
What do you think ?
