It hasn’t been updated in a long time but it works!
Interface: Could be better.
Dialogs: Alarmist, but for obvious reason – Don’t mess up when changing passwords!
Features: Does what it says though the log option doesn’t appear to work.
I came here to change all the passwords of a specific user role and kick butts, and I’m all out of passwords to change. ??
Thank you!

Effective and useful plugin, but as others have indicated, the setting descriptions and content for the email is horrible. Lots of grammatical mistakes and the language is not generic enough — it suggests the password is reset due to “violation issues.”

I selected ‘do not email’ because we are doing a site transfer from Expression Engine and needed to reset user passwords, it sent out an email to hundreds of users and may have lost me a contract.

Does what it says, but because I have too many users, I had to run this plugin multiple times by moving all users to a unused categorie first, then 500 users at a time to a second category, reset them and moving these 500 back to the default one and repeat these steps a couple of times ??
Would be nice if this plugin could do this with multiple runs automatically

Not a bad plugin – it does what it says BUT I added a custom message to send a nice notification to the customer… When I checked the final email, the additional information added by the plugin in the email was terrible.
It was poorly crafted, grammatically incorrect and even had spelling errors…
With no option to disable the inclusion of the system generated email content, I would’ve hoped it would’ve at least been spell checked!
Here is what was attached to the bottom of my message verbatim:
Hello,
The site administrator of https://www.xxxxxxx.com has automatically requested to changes your password due to violation issues.
User name: xxxxxxxx
To reset your password visit the following address and change your password.
https://www.xxxxxxxxxx.com/wp-login.php?action=rp&key=dmpP4jF719yWAfZr52h9&login=xxxxxxxx
Kind regards,
The admin team of the website
1. My password reset had nothing to do with “violation issues”
2. “requested to changes your password” – ?changes? – Come on!
3. “The admin team of the website” – Not even the “Blog Name”
I’m embarrassed now – customers will have read that and thought – b-grader

Does what it says and works fine despite not being upgraded. The only thing would be that there is a grammatical error in the email text. There are also spelling errors on the admin side.
Change all these errors by going to Plugins > Installed > Bulk Password Reset > Edit.
