I wanted to uninstall the plugin as I no longer need it. Even if I remove the plugin from site and delete the button from settings (didn’t migrate), the button still appears on site. I have to use CSS to hide it:

We have just one button in the middle-right margin. The button is horizontal and is taking up a little too much space by “jutting into the page” a little too much.
Is there a way to place the letters and icon for this one button vertical to the page margin so that it does not encroach so much into the page…??

I just installed Buttonizer on a customer’s website. I’ve used the plugin in the past and it always worked. But now, after setting up everything, the button simply doesn’t appear EXCEPT while I’m using the WordPress customizer.
Chrome’s developer console displays this error message:

Clicking on this message shows the following code:

Any idea what might cause this?
The second issue is that the plugin isn’t compliant with the insanely annoying requirements of the EU’s GDPR.
Opening Chrome’s developer tab “Sources” shows that there is a connection to cdn.buttonizer.io being established in the background. This type of behavior is pretty much illegal and there are tons of vulture lawyers scouring the internet for these exact issues.
I’ll have to deactivate the plugin as long as this isn’t “fixed” because it might end up causing us a lot of trouble.

On creating a new button with setting “web URL > popup”, as soon as I saved the site broke… any page source was missing the whole code!
I have recovered by reinstalling WP via cPanel, but you should investigate. It’s not an easy one to spot I guess, but I thought or informing you.

How about custom icons which I have uploaded to Font Awesome?
