Forget any answers here, the last reply from the developer was nearly a year ago. Documentation is meagre and without any response here its impossible if a small issue is actually a deal breaker. My issue was simply being able to limit user posting to a specific category or choose from a subset. It is quite complicated to get into how it works and for the cost of the pro version (currently around $150 for a year at the entry level) one would have thought some hand holding or even “a pro feature” as an answer would reward with more sign-ups.
fwiw I regard free support response as an indicator of how prompt premium support might be. Not even out of starting gate here

Front end post submission is a breeze with this addon. Awesome.

Great add-on for Caldera Forms, however it conflicts with multiple plugins I’ve got installed in WP 4.4.2:
Shortcodes Ultimate
Intense Shortcodes (Paid plugin)
The shortcodes themselves in the above plugins do still work, however the “Insert” buttons to insert/generate those shortcodes in the editor no longer do anything when this plugin is active.
In the short-term I’ll probably disable this add-on whenever I need to add a shortcode using either of the above plugins, however I’ll likely have to uninstall this in the near future due to the inconvenience of this workaround.
That said, I do find this add-on useful and will gladly re-rate as 5 stars if this can be resolved.
(As a side note, I highly recommend Caldera Forms itself.)
Cheers!

I installed this plugin yesterday with the intent of using it to create a bbPress topic from a form response!
After most of the evening and day trying to use the plugin, and much trial and error, I was able to get it to work successfully!
I’ll get a tutorial written soon for all the special tasks and fields involved in writing a Caldera Form to bbPress topic.
