Captain Form is throwing two critical errors on my website:

An active PHP session was detected Performance

A PHP session was created by a session_start() function call. This interferes with REST API and loopback requests. The session should be closed by session_write_close() before making any HTTP requests. The REST API encountered an error Performance

The REST API is one way that WordPress and other applications communicate with the server. For example, the block editor screen relies on the REST API to display and save your posts and pages.

When testing the REST API, an error was encountered:

REST API Response: (http_request_failed) cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 10001 milliseconds with 0 bytes received

Please advise ASAP.

Forms are not working from last 24 hours and getting error on backend displays “site under maintenance mode”.

How long does maintenance mode last?

I am using Hero plan and wrote mail several times for one my issue on page getting error “This form was created on a different website and cannot be published here”

Wrote mail on both email ids: [email protected] and [email protected]

Not getting any responses from last 10 days. This is completely ridiculous that I am using your top plan and not getting any support.

On report graph is not generating. On console showing error:

Hi we are using captain for the application of volunteers and unfortunately, all of a sudden the captain forms on the mobile does not hold the information. when someone types the info disappear. I have tried safari, chrome, duck duck go and problem persist on iPhone and iPads so far confirmed. I been using these from few years and never come across this issue. Please,help….. it is very urgent for us

have had the service since 2019, no issues. 2 weeks ago all of my forms quit working for IPhone users and really lag for Android users. For IPhone users just the header appears, but the form never loads. I have been submitting tickets and emails for 2 weeks to support but no reply. I did get one email from [email protected] with just a preview of an email I sent. Did they go out of business or sell to 123formbuider.com as they have the same address. We pay for this service, we are a charity and just had our big donation drive and lost a lot of donors because of the form not working.

Sir, After Subscription I cant access my My Form section. It always redirect to My Account Section. Kindly solve the issue ASAP

This issue is repeatedly being described in the forums, yet no proper response is being provided.

Is this issue being fixed? It is causing a critical health issue. This is not the paid version, just the basic one which I am trialing.

two years since the latest update, there are big security and speed issues that need to be fixed ASAP.
you charge 195 for most features and you don’t even care to fix the plugin!

I just updated to WordPress 5.6, and Captainform is causing Critical Issues “An active PHP session was detected,” “The REST API encountered an error,” and “Your site could not complete a loopback request.”

I recently downloaded everything from the CaptainForms storge onto my own storage. Now it seems like my forms arent working (forms still appear but no email comes to me when they get completed) and when I try to get into My Forms or New Form all I get is my Account page.
I think I’m losing registrations to my event so any help asap would be great thanks

Any plans to update this plugin? Just upgraded to WordPress 5.4 and receiving these 2 errors. I had to deactivate the plugin.

Loopback requests are used to run scheduled events, and are also used by the built-in editors for themes and plugins to verify code stability.

The loopback request to your site failed, this means features relying on them are not currently working as expected.

Is there a way of making a form that grabs specific data from excel spreedsheet after user enters a id # would grab all data on that row and update the form baseed on whats missing? and then a user can add Missing info only to form. then that would update the google sheets with new info?

When someone fills in the contactc form, it goes to my gmail.
When the next contact fills in the form, it goes in as a GROUP to the other previous contact form response in my gmail like a conversation view. I NEED THEM TO BE INDIVIDUAL responses so that I can respon individually.

When I log onto my WP Dashboard, it a message from CaptainForm saying that I got a duplicate account and ask me if I would like it to replace (not the exact word-but similar); So I choose to replace it.

Now when I click on “My Forms” it just take me to my Account page. Please help!

Hi! I am about to build a cake customization/order form. I would like customers to be able to fill out what they want on their cake, and put a deposit down directly from the website. We would have them pay through credit/debit card or PayPal, and we would like that money to go directly to our company’s QuickBooks account. Will we be able to link the Quickbooks account to the cake order form?

I want to build a form very simple form with job titles for in game events and have my USERS have their own link they can share with Other users of the completed form. AND / OR have other users fill their names in for that form. then of course I need some type of index of all the custom filled forms that is crawlable by search for ad purposes.

Not exactly complicated but your pricing leads me to believe your hosting my data and I do not want that in any way. So the date will be locally stored in MySQL.
So I tagged this savable yet publicly sharable forms. So that users may use my strategy sheets for their own purpose where email share and printable share is not really useful in this type of social environment.

I currently have Ultimate Membership Pro and Captain Form (123Frombuilder) and need to know the following:
1a) I am creating a form that I want my subscribers to fill out online and that information need to be available to them whenever they log in. Can I do this using my Bluehost/WordPress site? 1b) How do I set up the form so that each subscription has its own separate file in the database or will my subscription add on do this automatically?

After going to the “My Forms” it just goes to the account page.

The old forms that were there are not accessible any more.

Latest WP, php 7.2, lots of memory

I made a form and everything works perfectly like I want it to be.
I only encountered 1 little problem:

When I create a form the header says “My Form” by default.
When I click on it to change it i see a window popping up
and just for a split second it shows “<h1>My Form</h1>” and then it disappears.
I managed to select it and then tried pasting “<h1>MyFormName</h1>” over the selected part.

This was without any luck.

I hope someone is able to help me with this, or maybe this is a (known)bug?

I’ve been searching in all of the files but couldn’t find where I can write a custom code to add a border to the form.

And also when you put ” Upload multiple files ” in your form, two different buttons appear:
1. Add files
2. Drop files anywhere to add

How can I change these functions’ display text or remove one of them?

I have just found your plugin and installed it on our domain.

It looks awesome! Many congratsulation for your work!

I was wondering if it is possible to change the default text the respondent see after he press the submit button on the form.

Right now the text on the report is:

“This is the default version of your form report. You can customize it according to your needs and preferences. Reports can be generated for all the dropdown lists, radio buttons and checkboxes in your form. You can also add filters to your report, in order to see only the information that interests you at one point.”

Is it possible to replace it with another text like:
“Thank you for your participation….etc etc”

Is it possible to do it on the free version of the plugin or i have to upgrade/change plan?

Please let me know! If i cannot remove it on the free version we will upgrade plan because we really liked your plugin and we want to use it.
