I love this plugin, been looking for something like this for a long time. However, is there a way to make the links also work when you “hover” over an image and the caption is shown? Right now, you have to visit the attachment page in order for the link to work.
]]>this plugin work so well, simple and fullfill my need to add link in the caption, but can you made additional option to let the link open in new tab? i tried to change the plugin myself by add target="_blank" in .js file but can’t make it work
btw i do workaround by adding the _blank manually on the html after put the link by this plugin, but still hoping the option exist in the plugin to make it more efficient

I think I came across a little bug.
When using the “Add Media” button in the edit post screen, I UPLOAD a new image file. Right after the upload, still in the “insert media” window, I add the caption with your caption linker plugin.
The caption code is correctly generated and visible in the caption field.
When I now INSERT into Post, the image is inserted perfectly into the post, but the caption is NOT inserted in the post.
I have to delete the image from the post and insert the media again ( this time from the media library ) and the caption shows up fine.
Again, the bug only happens when you UPLOAD a new image and insert the caption right after upload.
Hope you can fix this. Would be great.
]]>Not sure if this plugin should do this or not, but currently the “link” icon only shows up in the media area.
If I click on an existing already inserted image from inside the post edit screen, the “Image Details” window shows up.
In this window there is no “LINK” icon shown.
Would be awesome if you could add this feature.
