Hi! I see that you closed your plugin, are there any other alternative that you or anyone know of that we can use for cardpointe. I know it will continue to work for now but wasn’t sure if there were any current maintained plugins with the same functionality. Thank you.
]]>If so what happened and why is it gone and what are the options to use CardConnect with WooCommerce now? This has been a long standing plugin and CardConnect still promotes Woocommerce Integration” on their website.
]]>It says “This plugin has been closed as of February 23, 2022 and is not available for download. This closure is permanent.”
What is the reason for the permanent closure? Is it still safe to use this plugin? What is the alternative for merchants that are using the CardPointe/CardConnect gateway then?
]]>Hi, Recently the CardPointe plugin is no longer available as a payment option in the payments section of WooCommerce. It had been working fine and the last payment was on 01/31/22. My guess is WordFence may have removed it due to critical errors. Can you please shed some light on this ?
]]>A technical support partner of our identified an (X-Frame-Options Header Not Set) that could potentially make a site susceptible to ClickJacking. Their documentation suggested the following fix: “Take a backup of wp-config.php >Edit the file and add the following line header(‘X-Frame-Options: SAMEORIGIN’);” I wanted to double check if changing the x-frame options in this way could potentially impact the iframe of the cardpointe gateway, the way he was explaining how this stops transparency exploits sounded like it might potentially impact the iframe if it operates on a transparency like that. Edge case I know, but would hate to have had an issue crop up because I hadn’t checked.
]]>Please see two previous topics, one that I posted and one posted by @iulights, that were marked RESOLVED – they were not resolved – we’ve been advised by support to stay at version 3.3.2 until you have this fixed, but don’t know if it’s been fixed.
I set the “Maximum Credit Card Attempts” to 5. This is supposed to limit the number of credit card attempts PER ORDER that a customer can try to 5 for one credit card.
What it actually does it limit the number of uses our customers can have with one credit card to 5 attempts across ALL ORDERS. Then I have to go delete it from the BANNED cards list, however with 3.3.2 the banned cards don’t even populate the list.
I need this feature fixed so that the credit card attempts are only limited to a PER ORDER basis. This is how the feature explains that it is supposed to work.
Please advise on when I can expect this fix to take place.
Best Regards

]]>SyntaxError: Unexpected token o in JSON at position 1 (on payment page)
Hi WordPress team,
A client of mine is unable to process payments when the Affirm plugin (buy now pay later) gateway is also setup on their site. I was able to run a successful test transaction when disabling that.
RexAK, I have a specific need that might require some custom work on a variation of this plugin – is there any way to reach out directly to discuss further?
]]>Hello,
My website runs on WordPress.com and the Cardpointe gateway setting is not displaying in the “Set up payments” menu. I uploaded two images that differentiate between a wordpress.com and www.ads-software.com. Is there anything that would prevent a wordpress.com site from displaying the plug-in; especially while it’s under review?
]]>This plugin was working until the week of November 8th; then it stopped working.
We installed version 3.3.4 on the advice of CardConnect, with the exact same settings, and with a visible v2 Recaptcha. but we are consistently getting the Recaptcha Error:
“Google ReCaptcha Error.
The recaptcha field is required.”
https://downloads.www.ads-software.com/plugin/cardconnect-payment-module.3.3.4.zip
When we look at the developer console and Ajax, we can see that there’s nothing Captcha related in the form data. In the shop, you can see the recaptcha response data, but it’s not included in the form.
]]>Any idea when we will be able to download again? Says it has been pulled and is under full review?
]]>Hello,
Regarding the security features in the plugin:
I set the “Maximum Credit Card Attempts” to 5. This is supposed to limit the number of credit card attempts PER ORDER that a customer can try to 5 for one credit card.
What it actually does it limit the number of uses our customers can have with one credit card to 5 attempts across all orders.
Basically if any of our customers try to place 5 orders in one day, the first 4 orders will process through without a problem then the 5th order will ban their card. Then I have to go delete it from the BANNED cards list.
I need this feature fixed so that the credit card attempts are only limited to a PER ORDER basis. This is how the feature explains that it is supposed to work.

]]>Hello. I have a client’s site setup on separate staging domain and have entered all settings and credentials as provided. The payment gateway is displaying fine and appears to be setup correctly, yet when any number is entered in the credit card field number, the following error is produced: “SyntaxError: Unexpected token o in JSON at position 1”.
So, what I need to be able to do is conduct test transactions. I’m wondering if the plugin solution being installed on a different domain than the production site has anything to do with this issue.
Thank you.

Not every customer. Specific cards are repeatedly blocked. This happens at least once a week. I am running PHP 8.0 (though it has occurred repeatedly before upgrading). I have reached out to Cardpointe and they have provided no solid answers other than “customer error?”.
Running version 3.3.5 on Woocommerce 5.8.0 and WordPress 5.7.3 using BeTheme.
Prior to this latest case, I had been able to run certain cards in virtual terminal successfully. Now that is no longer an option (returning the same error).
I had unchecked the iFrame tokenization in response to a previous Cardpointe support tech surmising iFrame might have been the issue. However, when I look at reporting for the failed transactions, it lists under Tokenization: iFrame.
Is the option not to utilize iFrame irelevent or creating a conflict?
]]>Hello,
I apologize if this topic is addressed in the remainder of the forum. I haven’t had any luck getting an answer so a link to the post will be much appreciated. I truly appreciate any help! A techy question from a non-tech so please forgive me if it’s redundant…
The Merchant (501c3 Nonprofit) wants to have an option for the Customer (Donor) to be able to pay the discount rate and fees (a-la-Paypal) where this option can be selected at check out. Is this a setting available in the plugin or can the option be pushed by API?
Thanks in advance for your help!

I’m trying to set up the Cardpointe payment gateway on my development site. I have opened port 443 and have confirmed that it’s open; an SSL is installed and the credentials are correct.
I’m still getting a double error message:

You will not be able to process transactions using the sandbox CardPointe environment.
First ensure that the 'Site' field is set and saved correctly above.
Then please request that your server admin or hosting provider opens port 443.

]]>Hi, is it correct that this plugin doesn’t currently support Apple Pay and Google Pay? If so, are there plans to in the future? From what I’ve found, it sounds like the CardPointe API supports them, but this plugin hasn’t tapped into it. Thanks.

]]>Voicing support for a previous ticket comment requesting that the plugin doesn’t force use of V2 CAPTCHA if recaptcha-for-wooocommerce is already in place. We would prefer to use invisible captcha as we’re losing many orders/customers with v2 CAPTCHA as they’re confused and not able to complete checkout.
————————————————————————–
Hi, we’ve had the recaptcha-for-woocommerce plugin, with the v3/invisible recaptcha, running on our site to prevent fraud attempts and it works great.
Being forced into v2/checkbox with additional code to load in is very undesirable for us, mostly because we don’t want that extra hurdle in our checkout – we will lose sales, without any benefit.
I see that the CardConnect plugin is currently checking for the recaptcha-for-woocommerce being in place, along with the option for it running in the checkout. But your plugin just warns users to disable that recaptcha-for-woocommerce option.
I am requesting that you please update the CardConnect plugin so that if this alternate captcha solution is in place, we aren’t forced to use v2/checkbox from your plugin.
Thanks,
Jeremy
Hello,
The credit card field is showing blank. Other payment providers worked, however, card connect is not?
Thank you.
Aaron
Our online store averages about 10 orders a day. Since I updated the plugin to 3.3.4 this afternoon, half of our orders have been stuck in Pending Payment. The user is getting the error that their card is banned for too many attempts, but this is their first order of the day (some order weekly). When I went into the payment settings, there were no cards in the tokenization box to clear to allow payments to go through. I had to disable iFrame tokenization to try to allow orders to go through.
]]>On mobile, the required recaptcha is being pushed offscreen. We do not currently have it live on this site, it is on staging which is password protected. Happy to provide a screenshot or anything else, just don’t want to push these changes live until this is fixed. Additionally, there’s a ton of space in the iframe with the card number input field in it and it’s pushing the expiration date and CVC inputs down unnecessarily far.

]]>Hello,
I use WooCommerce Subscriptions and have the following payment plugins enabled:
– Square
– CardConnect
– Auth.net eCheck
All three payment plugins work fine together when checking out and creating subscriptions.
However, when attempt to use the Change Payment Method function for the subscription, there appears to be a conflict caused by your plugin that prevents the change payment function from operating.
This is page url on which the error occurs
The page will load, but when payment details are entered for any of the plugins, including cardconnect, after submit no action occurs and the screen loads indefinitely.
However, with CardConnect disabled the change payment method function appears to work fine for the other two plugins.
WooCommerce support has done some testing on a staging site for me and they think the conflict is being caused by your plugin.
Do you have any advice on how to proceed?
]]>Greetings! Our Cardconnect Field is having issues on having the date and CVV field clickable when processing payment. On a phone this field is easily editable which is fine or on a desktop when hitting Tab it can move someone along with into the fields but it will be an issue if someone tried to click. Cardpointe/Connect directed us to reach out to you.
Please let us know if you have any means of assistance here!
Thank you!
