Hi,
I want to switch to the Stripe Gatway. I’ve got the API key in place but it’s still showing PayPal checkout on the front end. I don’t see a “select gateway” option in the gateway settings. How do I set it to use Stripe instead of PayPal?
Thanks.
]]>Hello, under Cart66 Settings > Main > Styles
I flagged “Use enhanced checkout styles.”
And I was able to see the difference as the new button style appeared in my website (which is black background with grey rollover and white text).
then I choose to change the Add to Cart/Primary Button Color and the Checkout/Secondary Button Color by using the color picker, saved the changes, but that didnt work, the buttons remains black.
Can you please check if there is some issue with that feature?
Many thanks
]]>A few customers have reported seeing an error message in the shopping cart after making a transaction, although the payment to Paypal goes through and I receive the notification of the sale. My version of WP and Cart66 Lite is up to date.
Any ideas why this might be happening?
]]>Hello,
When I go to the product page on the admin side of wordpress none of my products show up under Cart66. When I go to the website I can still see all the products.
I was just wondering if this was a bug or did something happen to the database?
]]>Hello everybody,
it is possible in the subject line of the notification e-mail in addition to issue the order number?

]]>I would like customers to enter at what time of day they want some food delivered and at what address.
I could create two products and using variations, have text fields the user should enter.
If I insert them so the user can “add to cart” it looks correct on checkout allowing the person to enter text…
This means above solution would be great if I could automatically / programmatically add them to the order upon checkout, e.g:
“Delivery to address: xyz”
“Delivery at time:”
How do I do that? I am pondering if it is possible to simulate the POST mechanism used when a user clicks “add to cart”, but I have problems getting it to work
]]>As Denmark do not have currency symbol, I have had to fill in something else. This means that I in cart66 configuration I have
currency symbol = kr
currency character = kr
currency position = After
Decimal Point = ,
The trouble comes when I configure a product with variations, e.g.
—
Product name = Example
Item number = 1000
Price = 20
—
In “Product variations” I use option “Option Group 1” where I insert text:
“en, tre +25kr, fem +40kr” (without the “”)
However, when I test ordering process and select “fem +40kr”
the change is not reflected in shopping cart checkout – the actual price and summary-calculations still says 20.
Any ideas?
]]>I’ve selected the custom field option to show up on the Product Variations (see: https://i.imgur.com/oa2n7Ee.png), but it will not render on the front-end of the site – where the other option group 1 and option group 2 variations do show up. (see: https://i.imgur.com/B9PFjWL.png)
What’s odd is that the custom field instructions show up on the next product page, but display as if nothing was entered.
I’ve checked the source code on the “add to cart” form and there is no evidence that the custom field is being pushed through.
How can I fix this?

]]>Have CART66 Lite on my site, using the Paypal Express gateway to accept payments to my Paypal account.
Just got an email stating that Paypal is upgrading their Verisign Trusted Root Certificate from G2 to G5 and Signing algorithm from SHA-2 to SHA-256.
Target dates for these projects are documented at:

]]>When I deactivate Cart66, my non-Cart66 pages that have been designated as password protected using WordPress’s built-in visibility option (Visibility > Password Protected) stop working altogether.
(Note that these are pages that have NO items for sale and no Cart66 features on them.)
With Cart66 activated, the pages display properly and WP’s password feature works properly.
With Cart66 deactivated or deleted, the initial password login page generated by WP displays properly, but the page will not accept the correct password and the protected page never displays at all…just get a blank white screen.
Why would deactivating or deleting Cart66 destroy WP’s built-in page password function, and how do I fix this? Thanks for any suggestions!
]]>Hi,
I’ve just released Paymill gateway integration for cart66 lite on https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/paymill/
It would be great to add the Paymill gateway to allowed gateway list to avoid users following these instructions on each cart66 update:
Open file /wp-content/plugins/cart66-lite/views/checkout.php and in line 14, replace
'Cart662Checkout'
with
'Cart662Checkout',
'Cart66_paymill_for_wordpress'
Unfortunately, you’ll need to repeat this step on each update of Cart66.
Kind regards,
Matthias
]]>Hello,
I am working on a website for my client that requires an online store so users can purchase merchandise, event tickets and make donations.
Is this plugin capable of all of that?
Also, they will be purchasing their own SSL certificate from their web host, will that work the plugin?
Thank you!
]]>I have the most current version of Cart66 Lite plugin installed on this client website:
I book a trip and get to the shopping cart page and see the item in the cart. I click Checkout and then Checkout with PayPal button. Instead of going to PayPal, I get a “your cart is empty” message.
After further testing I determined that this is an issue with Safari browser. The checkout works in Firefox (v32.0.1) but not Safari (v6.1.5)
To test this please visit this page:
https://www.yoloworldtravel.com/las-terrenas-booking/
Click “Step 2 – Select Payment Option” tab
Click Add to cart button on any item
On shopping cart page click Checkout
On checkout page click Checkout with Paypal

]]>I have two sites with Cart66 installed on them, and they work fine. Today I tried deactivating Cart66 on one site, and as soon as I did that, the wp-login.php process stopped working properly. All logins get the message:
“ERROR: Cookies are blocked due to unexpected output.”
When I reactivate Cart66, that login error goes away.
When I deactivate and delete Cart66, the login process breaks completely and I needed to reinstall backups of the site database and site files.
I can’t imagine why the Cart66 installation somehow gets intertwined with wp-login.php, but clearly something is happening here.
What is the best way to uninstall and remove Cart66 without breaking other parts of the site, especially wp-login.php?

]]>On the site of a client that sells physical goods through the mail, meadowcroftfarm.com, they process Cart66 Lite transactions through PayPal.
Occasionally, a customer will order a gift to be shipped directly to the recipient. In that case, the customer has to check out in Cart66, which takes them to PayPal, per usual. However, once there, to send the gift directly to the recipient, the customer enters an alternate address with the recipient’s name, and then selects that for this order.
After the order is placed, my client then gets the usual notice through Cart66. Except that it’s not quite accurate. The Billing Address shows the name of the person who made the order but with the address of the person receiving the gift. It’s confused.
PayPal will print out a mailing label with the correct name and address for the gift recipient, but my client would like a way within Cart66 to see a correct name/address for both 1) the person placing the order and 2) the recipient of the gift. Is there a way to make this happen in Cart66 Lite?
Thanks!

]]>Hello,
I am helping someone out with a site using Cart66 Lite and all is fine except that the images in the product section are not resizing themselves on smaller screens. The rest of the images on the blog do this automatically, it’s just the product images. On a phone only half of them is visible.
This is the last hurdle and it’s the only thing I can’t figure out. If anyone knows how I could get the images to resize that would be great, or perhaps there is something I missed.
Any feedback would be great,
Thanks
