Wtf
]]>Hi,
Thanks for having this but wanted to mention it doesn’t work for me with Opera browser even if I turn off adblocker.
It works with Epic.
And it does with Chrome even with adblocker on.
I tried the plugin by or called net neutrality that is mentioned by battleforthenet.com and that didn’t seem to work but I only checked that one on Opera.
Maybe I’m confused, but isn’t the IDL supposed to be defending the internet? If it is, why hasn’t this plugin been updated in TWO YEARS??!! If this Chris guy can’t do it, can someone else step in? Hell, I can’t code myself out of a paper bag, but if need be, I will! Sheesh!!!
]]>When running WordPress 4 and Google Chrome the Cat Signal message (the Net Neutrality one currently) appears on every damn page! Each time you surf to a new page it appears again. I’m all for supporting this cause but that’s too much. Sorry but I’ve disabled it until I can be sure this is fixed.
]]>I could not get the Cat plugin to work in modal, banner or secrecy mode. Both the link in the plugin to check and a manual check failed.
I finally just made a post on my site of the gif.
anigif.gif
buried in the middle of a blog and withoug promotion will never get seen.
Stop with the fancy stuff and get us one that anybody that knows what a widget is can put it in a left or right column of their blog. WordPress makes things so easy that many people don’t know how to edit their header.
]]>I am running PHP version v5.2.17 on my server. Could this be the cause?
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in /var/www/web1195/html/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/cat-signal/cat-signal.php on line 245
]]>Help, I just updated the plugin and now I can’t get onto my blog, I can’t even figure out how to do a go around and get in to disable the plugin. My blog address is https://afixerupper.com and you will see for yourself what is shown, Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in /home/afupper/public_html/wp-content/plugins/cat-signal/cat-signal.php on line 245
Is there a way you can remedy this?
As indicated in the title, I’ve installed & configured the plugin (selected the Type of signal and where to display it, then clicked Save Changes), but when I try to test it by appending ?_idl_test=1 to the site URL, it doesn’t look any different. I verified that the desired JavaScript library is loaded, but no banner or modal dialog (depending on config) is displayed.
Here are the three sites in question:
https://iestr.net/?_idl_test=1
https://sgvbfc.org/?_idl_test=1
https://anewlifeoasis.com/?_idl_test=1
I’ve looked through the code (which is very funneh), but can’t quite see what’s wrong.
]]>When you select modal or banner from the dropdown and hit save, it doesn’t reflect the correct options. Other options are fine, it’s just that one.
BTW, unrelated.

That image should be local ?? WP.org plugin repo guidelines say to have all images local (falls under no phoning home).
]]>I′m very proud to support IDF with this plugin on my site https://www.hakozen.net. And it′s now active, in the name of late Aron Swarch. No i get mails from my readers that they can′t support the case, because the sign up form doesn′t support Norwegian zip numbers. (My site is Norwegian). I guess the movement could get many more followers if the sign up forms where international. Good luck, guys!
]]>When I load my site, the html is cut off after:
<meta name=”generator” content=”WordPress 3.5.1″ />
…but php gives no errors when I run from cmd line.
I’ve disabled the plugin because in banner mode, my site doesn’t even load the home page. In modal mode, no cat window comes up.
