How do I display the current checked tags as a header? For example, if a user checks “tag 1” and “tag 2” and clicks submit, I’d like to display a header that reads “Tags: tag 1, tag 2”.

This plugin doesn’t work properly on multisite. When I search a tag or category the permlink looks like this.

my-site.com/category/my-category

In order for it too work on multisite, it needs to look like this.

my-site.com/blog/category/my-category

Do you have any fix for this?

Hello,
I’m using your plugin and it’s great. Only problem is:
– I have made a search by selecting certain category and tag. When I select new category the tags dropdown shows tags from the current category. Is it possible to refresh page after selecting the category so that the tags dropdown would show the right tags depending on the first dropdown?

Just one change, can you add %tag% in the title tag of the result, currently it just shows %category_name%.

When I perform a filter, my page goes to the search page with nothing on it. Thinking it might be related to permalinks (we’re simply using the post-name option or %/postname%/), I tried updating permalinks, but then I get the following error:

it is coming out with:

instead of:

Revealed a problem – not output category with lots of records. I’m in the category “Architecture” in 2699 records. When you try to pull all records (even without a filter), a blank white screen.
Before that, had the same problem with a lower category (1800 records) – helped off some plugins.

Disable this plugin – category reappeared!

Is there any way to show a list of tags and their categories?

The story behind this is that I have a custom made directory. I have created various company names as posts and put them into corresponding categories such as Indian food, Chinese food, and if they are in helsinki then i TAG them as NYC. SO the plugin perfectly searches them. But I want to list my cities such as NYC, LA etc. and the categories underneath so that I can see Chinese, Indian under NYC and the user can just click on them directly rather than choosing dropdown items then clicking.

I created a small external popup with custom menu to search via tags.

The url looks like this

Site.com/?category_name=Cool&Tag=tag1,tag2,tag3

My question is:
Lets say I have two posts in the same category that share 1 tag, but not others.

Post one tags:
Cool, stuff, amazing, five

Post two tags:
Cool, sweet, awesome, seven

Now two post share one tag, but I don’t want them to show up in the results unless all other search tags match.

So since post TWO did not have “sweet, amazing, five” it should not show up when I search for “Cool, stuff, amazing, five”

I don’t know if I am being clear lol I am horrible at trying to explain things.

Hello. I use this plugin – WP No Category Base

And I use your plugin “Cat + Tag Filter”. It works for me only in old versions which don’t use pretty links. After version 0.9 it gives me 404 error when I want to filter materials.

I apologize ahead of time if I missed a similar topic for the issue I am having. I have worked with php before and can understand certain parts of code when I look at it but am not so great at writing it myself.

I can see the php function call in the readme.txt and I added it to my category.php page but I want to be able to hide the category drop down and for the life of me can’t see how to target that option using the $instance arguments. Any help would be appreciated.

Аджей, но мне приходится просить вашей помощи, так как сам не могу решить данную проблему. Плагин у меня настроен так, что поиск выполняется после выбора какой-то одной категории и одного какого-то тега. И вот проблема в том, что используя на страницах вывод заголовков с помощью кода:

<?php wp_title(‘ ‘); ?>

у меня при поиске через плагин выводится в заголовке название категории, в каторой искали сообщения с выбранным тегом. А очень нужно, чтобы помимо названия категории в заголовке выводилось и название тега по которому осуществлялся поиск.

Буду вам очень признателен.

P.S.- пишу вам на русском, так как знаю, что вы до переезда на Филиппины жили в России.

I selected the ‘Show only corresponding tags for current category‘ button.

But the tags of other categories are also shown, while i only select once category on my website. How can i possible fix this?

In the navigation of my website i use categories instead of pages. Maybe this has something to do with it?
