If the user click on create new post, the “Uncharacterized” category is auto select. I want force the user change category to another.

The Category check box on Page/Post Quick Edit & Bulk Edit is still not affected by the plugin. Its better if those inputs also change according to the Metabox settings.

Hi there,

The category is showing up in the settings page, and works great. But custom taxonomy tabs are not showing up for me. Is there anything I need to watch out for to make sure they get pulled up by the plugin?

Could you add support for custom taxonomies. Then now WP core categories panel UI drives me nuts. Your’s is great, but only working for categories. I’ve got a taxonomy on a custom post type and your plugin doesn’t replace it. It would be wonderful if it had an option to replace those as well.

I am using the “Forgot the Category” plugin, which forces the user to select a category other than “uncategorized”. The problem is when I use your plugin and select the radio buttons option, even when I have selected a category, the “Forgot the Category” plugin will not detect that a radio button has been selected and it will not allow me to go past that and keeps on prompting me to select a category.

My suggestions, why not add the following?:

— an option to force a user to select a category other than ‘uncategorized’.
— an option to change the default category from other than ‘uncategorized’.
