The plugin works. But the “last updated” date is more that 2 years ago. Which was preventing me from using this plugin.

The developer needs to push an update.

I love this plugin. It saves time and adds a layer of flexibility to WordPress. Now a user can select a default image for categories without having to edit any code. As a developer, I don’t want the user to have to edit code so this is a great feature.

I have the option of beautiful header photos with my current theme, so I’ve been manually picking a featured image for each post. I have a few post types that I write often and always use the same header image each time, so this little plugin has saved me a lot of time.
