tried multiple times with diff codes.

I tried to use this plugin to generate a list, on a regular page, of posts within a single category. I’m not a high-end developer, neither am I a newbie. The only documentation I could find was in the readme.txt that came with the plugin, which for this function says to insert the shortcode:
[category-posts]

Of course, that doesn’t work because nothing indicates the actual category. I tried substituting an actual category name, but that didn’t work. Tried all sorts of things, and thoroughly searched in Google for some discussion. Since the author does not offer support, I was pretty much dead in the water with only wasted time to show for it. Too bad.

I would like to thank for this beautiful plugin since I had been looking for such plugin to filter my posts based on multiple categories. You should change this plugin with familiar name like “multiple categories post filter” so users will be able to find this plugin easily.. I guarantee..

I used this plugin to list child categories on specific category pages of my site in conjunction with the ‘Rich Tax Description Editor’ to customize my category pages. (Had to first add a line of code to the ‘Rich Tax’ plugin, thoughtfully provided here: https://www.ads-software.com/support/plugin/rich-tax-description-editor by an awesome person, so that shortcodes would work in my category description field.)

If you are trying to list titles of child categories on parent category pages, then the combination of this plugin, CatWalker, and the plugin mentioned above will do the trick nicely.
