I am not happy about the KEYCDN services. I had been using KeyCDN services for 6 months, which I canceled. After canceling, I noticed that all image URLs on my WordPress website were completely broken, and they still show the KeyCDN image URLs even though I have uninstalled their plugin and services. Now, I am manually editing and changing all the image URLs. I am very disappointed with their services.

Have been using it on multiple websites for quite some time now, and haven’t faced any issues so far. Thanks for providing this plugin!

the plugin has been very helpful for my site.

I am impressed, CDN enabler was also able to handle wp-json 100% without any issue. Thanks

Working perfectly in version 2.0.2.
It just changed the link a little bit, but that’s okay.
You guys are awesome, thank you very much!

As a software developer myself, I appreciate the work that goes in to making this plugin. It was easy to set up and performs well. When a recent major version update caused problems, attention was given swiftly and the issue was resolved.
If you want an all-in-one CDN solution, purchasing the associated KeyCDN would be a simple and effective choice. The free plugin also works with other CDN providers, we are using AWS CloudFront and this is also working well.

This plugin conflicts with the current version of Divi. It prevents the builder from loading.

At some point in the last 24 hours, the plugin was updated without my knowledge resulting in a broken website. I have not enabled the auto update for this plugin, as I don’t any of that I use. I am in the site on a daily basis and manually update things as needed. This is the reason for it. It took me a while to figure out the problem was your update.
You took away the ability to select which directories would be changed to my cdn. And, when I use the hostname, which is an amazon couldfront url, it results in a message:
“Invalid CDN Hostname: assets.aroundfortwayne.com returned a 403 status code.”
That issue is resolved by unfortunately deactivating your plugin.
You need to give a warning when drastically changing your plugin like that – especially if you’re going to ignore auto update settings.
Very disappointed after using this plugin for years. I have been considering purchasing the paid version, but if this is the way you operate, no thanks.

Fast and simple. I use the plugin with KeyCDN’s Cache Enabler plugin and Optimus to create WebP images.
Feature request: I would love to use KeyCDN’s image processing functionality too. I understand how the query parameters work. But I would love some type of WordPress plugin to make it easier to add query parameters to all images.

Updated 29 MAR 2021
We are now using this plugin successfully together with KeyCDN.
No issues at all.

The description for the integration are so limited, trouble shooting not available. I would like to use words here to express my frustration, but I’d better not, otherwise the moderators will delete tis revieww. Just save your money and NEVER use caching and / CDN. Better a slow site than a broken one.

I installed this plugin yesterday – easy to set up and it works like a dream.
Pingdom now reports my website loads in under a second and no warnings about using a cookie less domain.

Installed this and ended up with my website redirecting to itself! Spent a few hours fixing it! Disabling the plugin didn’t work, whatever it did it wasted my time.

definitely virus. Http doing the redirect and your website crashes at a time. Don’t use it

This plugin doesn’t do any magic, but it works. Simply replaces your main domain by your CDN URL for your static resources. If you use WPEngine or some other hosting with advanced features, it is better to have this “renaming” done on the server side. Otherwise, this plugin does it well.

CDN Enabler is a simple and solid tool to integrate a CDN with WordPress, especially when connected to KeyCDN and paired with their Cache Enabler plugin.

Coming from a free Cloudflare account which did not require a plugin, I assumed KeyCDN would be a smoother more integrated experience given this dedicated plugin.
Quite the opposite. Went through the KeyCDN setup process, plugin installed, Cache Enabler installed. All checks done. And more than 50% of the images are not being served by the CDN. The plugin does not recognise or fix this.
I don’t know if the issue is directly the plugin or the CDN. But the fact ther plugin is there to control things, if it doesn’t recognise that most of the images are not being served by the CDN, then what is the point of it?
Sales support was there, tech support seems to be non-existent. Troubleshooting is a combination of convoluted or not-applicable (it even states if using this plugin, relative domains won’t work, yet the plugin has an option for that). None of my images were relative domains anyway.
The only reason for KeyCDN over cloudflare was the cookie-free domain issue. But if it doesn’t even deal with the basics of ensuring all images are served from the CDN, then what is the point?
Finally moving to KeyCDN and this plugin was just a big waste of time.

This is great when you don’t need a full-blown performance plugin just to use a CDN. It was simple to setup (both the plugin and KeyCDN). Nice pricing on KeyCDN versus others.

Simple plugin but works well. Thanks for sharing!

I have a large number of clients that usually require quick setups, and this plugin made that a super simple process. After setting up my account, it was incredibly easy to activate my CDNs. They also have a deeply extensive documentation and didn’t run into issues finding anything I needed. From managing my account to configuring my nginx settings, I was able to chug along smoothly.
Some of my websites needed certain plugins excluded, which I had accidentally typed the wrong path. Their support team was quick to catch the problem and rectified the issue. Quick response, and solid help. This means a lot to me when choosing software.
I couldn’t have asked for anything easier. Kudos, guys!

I followed KeyCDN integration guide for my WordPress setup. Very easy.

Excellent plugin to enable CDN on my blog. The entire setup process was extremely easy and only took me a few minutes. I have paired this plugin with KeyCDN and so far my website speed has been extremely improved. It used to be about 4 seconds and now it’s down to 1.2!! Very happy to say the least.

The setup is complicated to impossible. When using SSL and LetsEncrypt, KeyCDN always returns an error message when using ZoneAlias. You can’t contact the support because you must have deposited at least $49 to be able to contact the support. A test of this provider was therefore impossible. CloudFlare was easy to set up compared to KeyCDN. I like to spend more money and have no problems with the setup and support. What is the benefit of having the fastest CDN if it is not setupable or the support is only partially available?
I cannot recommend this provider! Other providers make the setup much easier. The plugin is not usable, because the provider does not offer support to get help with problems in the test phase.

I’ve been using KeyCDN and this plugin, CDN Enabler, for about 6 months now with no issues.
The setup on the KeyCND website pretty easy, a little reading from their extensive knowledge-base is all you’ll need. The setup on your WP site is even easier.
Great Tool.
