Please make a tutorial for the CDN configuration for the Drop Box
]]>I have the following piece of code being pointed to the cdn, which it shouldn’t because I have the default ignore .php in my settings.
https://cdn.mysite.com/wp-content/plugins/tubepress_pro_3_1_4/src/main/web/php/ajaxEndpoint.php?action=playerHtml&tubepress_video=EJDZRFNz2p4&embeddedHeight=350&embeddedWidth=620&playerLocation=normal&galleryId=1647834573
This is causing the plugin not to work correctly. It has ajaxEndpoint.php so shouldn’t it be ignored? Any Ideas
]]>I have CDN Sync working on one site – rackspace cloudserver and cloudfiles – Chicago. I installed it on a new standalone wp site, also rackspace cloudserver and cloudfiles container – hosted in Dallas – CDN gives a blank screen when I try to verify.
I have been able to mount the cloudfiles container with cloudfuse no problem, but CDN gives a blank screen when I try to test it.
At a loss, not really sure where to go with it. On latest CDN Sync with WP 3.7.1
]]>Hi guys,
I’ve just started using this plugin, along with S3 and CloudFront, and I’m really impressed. However, I’m having a problem with uploading the crunched imaged that WordPress generates.
For example, if I upload image01.png, WP will then create image01-440×220.png along with a few other sizes. But looking on my S3 storage, it’s only the parent image that’s being uploaded.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Kev
]]>I have just installed the current version of the CDN-sync-tool plugin (2.2.1) on a WordPress Multisite running verison 3.6.1
I am receiving the following error:

Any help here? I have confirmed it is definitely this plugin… if I disable, then I can upload the files.
]]>Hi

can anyone help me to solve this issue here i also want to tell am using wp super cache in which i’ve also configure the cdn tab is it good or i’ve to delete this settings.
Kindly reply me as soon as possible

CDN sync tool is recommended to be used with WP Super Cache so I try to get it to work. I am using a subdomain multisite installation currently with 3 sites.
Each time I sync another “.min” section is added to Javascript files. For example:
wp-content/uploads/jquery.ui.draggable.min.min.min.min.js gets:
wp-content/uploads/jquery.ui.draggable.min.min.min.min.min.js
etc.
Since I want to run the site for month possibly years my biggest concern is that the filenames are growing an I wounder how long I can use the tool until the 256 Byte maximum filename length is reached. At the moment I can not be sure what happens with the CDN sync tool once the maximum filename length is reached. Did anybody experience this already?
Any idea how to make CDN sync tool to only have one minified version per js file?
]]>Hi There,
When I ‘Enable CDN Support’ via WP Super Cache on WordPress 3.5.2 – the site layout changes & it loses its template.
Do you have any guidance for me please? Also i have screen grabs if you need them.

Since a new version of this plugin is in development a lot of time hasn’t been put into maintaining it. Therefore, we (the Web Development Group) decided to fork the exiting plugin and get it to a working state for client that are currently attempting to use this plugin.
We’ve It would help quite a bit if you all could help us in testing different scenarios. We’re currently testing a 3.4.2 multisite using rackspace cloud sites and we can confirm everything is working.
Thank you!
]]>This would be an amazing plugin… if it worked. Still hoping for the update promised 2 months ago.
]]>I have the latest version of WordPress and CDN Sync tools. I run the sync and it uploads almost everything – except the plugin files, which breaks a few things. I can manually sync those using the tool, but I assumed with the “Plugin Files” checked it would actually do that for me.
Is there a bug?
]]>After installing and configuring WP Super Cache the notice at the top of the page says “Garbage collection by this plugin clears out expired and old cached pages on a regular basis. ]]>The last I could find that the plugin author was 7 months ago according to his profile
Started: 7 months ago Most recent reply: 7 months ago.
The github page is also 7months ago so I would say this is abandoned.
Shame The only other option is to use wp super cache or one of the othe cache plugins that support cdn pull.
Shame its a nice plugin but doesn’t work anymore.

]]>This is a very nice plugin that has apparently been abandoned by its author. It does not sync data to S3 failing silently. The author seems to have left plugin support on the wp forums and on Github.
It’s a real pity, since this plugin should do a very simple thing and should work together with wp super cache.
]]>I have tried numerous times to get this sync tool to connect to my CloudFiles account. I have the correct username, API key, and DNS record setup for the container, however all I ever get when I “save and test changes” is the following …

I recently stopped using W3TC because of performance issues and was using it to publish to a CDN on Amazon S3.
Does CDN Sync Tool publish to S3 in the same way that W3TC does. Meaning, can I simply tell CDN Sync Tool to publish to the same folder that W3TC was, since most all of the files are already there?
Any thoughts appreciated.
]]>My error log is full of references to CDN Sync Tool, and the developer seems to have abandoned the project, not having touched it in four months although extremely active on another plugin.
I’m tempted to deactivate and delete, but I’m afraid of messing up my Super Cache install.
Anyone?
]]>Hi Folks, installed this today, but got a small problem
mycdn.com/uploads/12/john.jpg works
mycdn.com/wp-content/uploads/12/john.jpg gives a 404
solution is to remove /wp-content/ from with the help of the plugin.
any thoughts of how to do this?
cheers!

Hello,
I would like to set up cache-control headers to all my images. Is there any way to set up theses headers?
Thank you!
]]>Hi.
I’m having problems with resized images.
For example:
1 – I upload a image named test.jpg;
2 – It is uploaded and resized, and all image files are sent to my CDN.
3 – In the same screen, if I click in IMAGE EDIT and rotate it, for instance, the wordpress creates another file (the same name with a suffix), and this new image isn’t sent to CDN.
Is there any way to fix this problem or I should wait for a new version?
Thanks.
Hi.
The slider on the home page and tweets have been disabled on my website. Is there any way to restore these? Otherwise what is the best way to uninstall the plugin please?
Thanks

]]>Hello, I’m trying to set up CDN Sync Tool to connect to Amazon S3 but I’m getting this error:
“CDN Sync Tool – S3 connection error, please check details”
Unfortunately it doesn’t specify details. My connection data look corrrect but maybe my Hostname of CDN field is wrong. I put this one:
Hostname of CDN: https://images.mydomain.com.s3-website-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/
Thank you very much.
]]>Heroku did not store generated static files. Is it possible to upload it directly to S3 instead of “sync” to local folder?
]]>I have used this in the past, just installed latest version using latest version of WP, all info is entered right. When I click Sync, goes to next page with grey box that never changes. Title says Syncing files…, doesn’t change or do anything. This happens even if I’m only syncing css, nothing happens. Tried uninstalling, re installing, disabling plugins…
]]>Hello!
I’m using this plugin for the first time – so I may be missing something.
I have two different things:
1. When I sync my files with the server, all of the folders that are uploaded have permissions as:
Read: World
Write: World
For obvious reasons, these permissions need to be:
Read: World
Write: Owner
How can I make this happen? Am I doing something wrong?
2. I have WP Super Cache installed and I’ve synced the files to my S3.
However, the URL’s of the media for the website (images, etc) – are still being served from my server instead of the S3 (the URLs have not been modified at all).
I’ve looked for documentation, but have been unable to find anything.

Any help would greatly be appreciated!
Thanks so much!
]]>I updated to 2.2.1 and after the update all the background images of my theme disappeared. I looked to the css files (made by CDN sync Tool on Amazon S3) and all path to background images look like this:
background: url(https://www2.mysite.com/https://www2.mysite.com/wp-content/themes/mytheme/images/main.png);
where www2.mysite.com is the bucket name and it cam be accessed as https://www2.mysite.com
Until you fix this bug, can you tell me please how can I download an older version of the plugin that was working fine. If I remember well, my previous version was 2.0.1
