]]>I have the same problem, but obviously the developers are not responding, unfortunately there is no other anti-spam plugin for Caldera Form. But this one doesn’t work.
Sometimes reCAPTCHA field not showing when the form loaded. but it is working form the background. so can’t submit forms.
Hello, how can I ensure that the displayed reCaptscha code is responsive? It constantly protrudes from the frame, it cannot be assigned a width value of 100%. Thank you.
]]>Hi, on the link the form is not working.
The private and public key is correct and working on other domain (I create a new domain on google) but when I submit the form email does not start, forms does not be change status on “delivered” and with the inspection tools seems that there’s a problem on it.
Could you verify?
Thanks
]]>As instructed, creating a new topic with a link to a problematic form.
I have three forms using the same reCaptcha v3 field. They suddenly stopped working on some platforms due to a reCaptcha error. Based on my quick research, it doesn’t matter if we switch to v2 because it’s a jQuery version conflict between WP and Caldera. Source: https://cybermike.id.au/caldera-forms-recaptcha-not-working-on-firefox-solution/
I am able to submit tests in Chrome, but not Firefox. Other users report problems on desktop and mobile browsers.
Thank you for your work to resolve this.
]]>I’ve seen this a few times on sites we maintain and haven’t noticed a pattern. We’ve had complaints from our customers about their contact forms not working, which they have replicated. When I’ve gone to their forms, most of the time every thing is fine, but occasionally I’ve spotted that the recatpcha is missing. The header is there, but the box isn’t there.
It’s as if the call to render it failed perhaps? You then can’t submit the form at all. If you reload the page, the captcha appears properly and all is fine.
I haven’t spotted if this is a V2 or V3 issue. The site linked is V2 and we’ve a bit of a mix across our sites.
This is obviously a massive showstopper as people willing in the form will have no idea that it should be there so have no reason to reload the page ??
]]>Firefox, Chrome, and Safari are no longer allowing recpatcha v3 to work. Tried new keys. Having this issue on another site as well.
]]>I am using the Caldera form on many websites dues to its better WCAG features.
Though reCaptcha is working fine in Chrome but not in firefox.
I have also checked your Github but it didn’t work either.
Any plan when you will release v 0.5?
]]>Recaptcha is disappearing before submission and forms cannot be submitted. We have tried V2 and V3 and it happens with both. There does not seem to be a reason why some people have more of an issue than others. Most of the time it disappears precisely at 2 minutes.
]]>Hi there ?? !
I’m trying to use the plugin and I’ve the reCaptcha v2 showned in the form, but after 2 minutes filling the form reCaptcha disappears making impossible to send the form. I’ve read that this is a token related issue, wich last for 2 minutes only.
How can we handle this? I’ve seen sites where reCaptcha remains showing errors until the user do it right, but it never disappears.
Kind regards.
]]>Hi,
I added the plug-in today and had a slight difficulty getting it to load at all, but finally I saw the recaptcha form and saved the page. However, when I went back the recaptcha part of the page only showed the label. I started again, from the beginning, and the same thing happened. It appears when first saved, but once used, the (new) form no longer displays it. Also, the form will not submit (of course) without it.
Thanks in advance for your help,
Debbie
Hi there
Before posting a new support topic or leaving a poor review for the plugin – please read on.
We’re working on trying to patch this issue but it’s proving to be quite a challenge. Some forms work across all browsers, others work on only some, while a few don’t work on mobile – we cannot pinpoint the exact cause of the issue at the moment.
If you’re experiencing an issue with the form submission with the Caldera Forms Anti Spam plugin active, please create a new topci and post a link to a page containing a form with the reCAPTCHA field in place so that we can give it a test and check for any JavaScript errors on the page too.
This plugin is a community-based plugin and in a time like this, we’re asking for the WordPress community to assist us in narrowing down the cause of this issue.
If you have any steps that you can share with us on how to replicate the issue, this will be greatly appreciated too!
]]>Hi
there is a problem with the plugin in that if update to 5.6 series of wordpress then the plugin causes the form to not be able to be submitted.
there is no error message shown
the captcha using v2 just does not appear so it cant be ticked so when click on submit nothing happens
using v3 just does not submit form (again no error message)
this has been an issue for a while now and has meant that cant update websites to v5.6 of wordpress
I have this installed on multiple websites and is the same issue on all of them
can you please provide a solution to this issue as i am sure it is affecting other users as well
]]>Unfortunately I have been having lots of issues with the ReCaptcha on 300+ sites where I use it in conjunction with Caldera Forms.
The latest problem is that the V3 recaptcha won’t let me send a form when using the mobile Chrome browser. It works fine on the desktop version, which makes no sense at all.
If I remove reCaptcha altogether the forms send fine too.
I really don’t want to have to implement a different solution on all 300+ sites for this!
]]>v3 not working on any browser. v2 works on Edge but not Firefox or Chrome
]]>Even if reCAPTCHA is not needed as there is Caldera Form and no Caldera Form with a reCAPTCHA field (from this plugin), the script is still loaded.
This can cause issues, hence it would be nice if this plugin only tries to load and initialize reCAPTCHA when it is actually needed.
Hi there, I have noticed an issue with your plugin and WP CountUP JS
When both are active, the form will not send. I have also posted on that plugin’s support section, which is how it was narrowed down to Caldera Forms Anti Spam.
]]>Not sure what the issue is but when using V2 it doesn’t load sometimes (especially if there is a Google Map on the page).
Using V3, Caldera just returns status:error in the post request, and nothing happens.
Clients get really pissed off when their contact forms don’t work.
]]>Hello –
Ok, after last update, here is what I have found on sites with WordPress 5.6 and Caldera Forms 1.9.3
v2: In all browsers, recaptcha disappears after 3 minutes and returns this error:
recaptcha__en.js:281 Uncaught Error: reCAPTCHA has already been rendered in this element
at recaptcha__en.js:281
at init_recaptcha_fld_895957_1 ((index):560)
at (index):571
v3: In some cases, it works, but in others, you have to use the jQuery Migrate Helper plugin and revert back to the legacy jQuery 1.2.4 in order for the form to submit, otherwise when you submit the form nothing happens. No errors or notifications.
Between the issues Caldera is having with getting caught up with 5.6, this is certainly not helping. We’re all having the same issues and I can only wish that this is resolved sooner than later because we certainly don’t have the time to jump to another form builder and rebuild hundreds of forms.
Please fix this issue because this wasn’t happening previous to this last update.
Thanks.
]]>I have a number of websites with the Caldera form used. Both plugins are updated, Caldera is v.1.9.3 and Caldera Forms Anti Spam is v.0.4. When anti spam is activated on a Caldera form, the form will not submit when a website visitor attempts to submit a form.
]]>I installed the latest fix v 0.4 but it looks it only effects V3 Recaptcha.
We are using V2 (sometimes invisible) on several pages (example link provided) and it doesn’t load in Firefox and Edge.
Chrome seems to work fine. I wonder why?
I have updated the plugin to latest version(Version 0.4), now after a particular time, if the page is kept open, captcha box disappearing from the form, and getting this error in console:
Uncaught Error: reCAPTCHA has already been rendered in this element
here is the screenshot: https://snipboard.io/0kpLR2.jpg
Hi there,
I recently added this plugin to integrate with Caldera Forms and had no issues from my side. The keys are set up correctly and I have added the custom field to all of the forms on the site just above the submit button and toggled the “Use reCAPTCHA V3”.
I have had no issues personally, but I have had a few people get in touch saying “The captcha wasn’t entered correctly. Reset.”.
Can you please advise on a fix for this or if something is being actively worked on for v3 recaptcha integration?
Hope to hear from you soon.
Thanks,
Jack
]]>Hello –
I am having this issue as it was brought up earlier this year where v3 recaptcha is being used and when they go to submit to the form they are receiving the message “the captcha wasn’t entered properly” even though it is the invisible version and nothing to enter.
However, this is happening sporadically. I am not being prompted with this error on any of my devices, desktop, or mobile (even disconnected to WiFi) – only other random people who are visiting the website.
I am using the most updated version of this plugin and Caldera (1.9.3) – however, we have not updated to WP 5.6 just yet – was waiting on a fix from Caldera.
Thanks
]]>Wordpress 5.6 updated jQuery and it’s causing a lot of problems.
If doing a hard refresh with CTRL+F5 it loads. Subsequent refreshes do not load, or load some of the time intermittently, or not at all.
I haven’t looked at your code, but from past experience issues like this were caused by a $(window).on(‘load’) function being inside the jQuery Ready function, which doesn’t work now.
Please fix! ??
]]>Hello,
there is a problem with this plugin.
It does not always load correctly.
There is this error in the console :
Uncaught (in promise) ReferenceError: sibVerifyCallback is not defined
at onloadSibCallback
But all works fine when reloading the page.
No conflict found.
Forms were not sent so i disabled the plugin.
Hi, no problem in other browers, but in Chrome it isn’t being sent and the form also doesn’t make the success message. Latest version Caldera and yours. V3 invisible. Correct keys.
]]>The recaptcha is visible on my contact form and appears to be working. But it has no bearing on whether a message is sent. Spam is getting through in spite of it.
]]>Hi there hope your well,
Recently installed this plugin to setup reCAPTCHA protection for my contact forms. After adding in the key and clearing cache everything seems to work however when I go to test the form nothing gets sent and it just sits on the page in the browser.
Could someone please assist with this as the Captcha integration is helpful but I must have the ability for users to send a contact request.
After disabling the plugin and clearing cache the forms work fine which confirms there is a issue with the plugin.
]]>I am using CalderaForms and Caldera Forms Anti Spam. reCaptcha working for all browsers on Windows and MAC without Firefox.
