Hello,
First of all muchas gracias for the plugin.
I chose the option “Track as Google Analytics (event)?”
Do I have to set any additional option in “Customize tracking options”?
I tried with sent, or without. I can see “success” in real time conversions of GA.
I suppose I have to set goals in GA, but which goals to set if it is an event?
Thank you for help
Hello
I just installed your pluggin because I want sending a form to my site to trigger an event on my Facebook. I am also using Pixel Caffeine, but I am having trouble configuring your plugin and theirs to make everything work perfectly. Thank you for your help.
Good morning, I need to differentiate in google analytics when the form of two different languages ??is sent (ITA / ENG with wpml).
The form appears on practically every page of the site.
Hey,
So I have set the fb pixel code in the header and installed your plugin. With the Chrome helper extension I can see the lead event saying it hasnt been triggered etc. I understand this is shown because it is being procced on the button press.
I did a test filling the form out and hitting send and nothing changed in the extension even though the form says successful submission. Is this normal? I would like to know if there is a way to test if its working.
Thanks
I don’t understand what I am supposed to see in GA. I installed this plug in and submitted a form. I then checked GA Realtime and all I see is the page the contact for is on. Am I supposed to put something in “Customize tracking options”?
Hello
I have a website and 2 landing pages, 3 different forms that i would like to track with 3 different goals in Google Analytics.
How should i set up the plugin and the analytics?
Thank you in advance!
Hello!
I’ve installed your plugin. Thank you very much. The lead is being captured when the submit is succesful. But lead is being captured also when the user clicks on submit button (with missing fields) even if the form is not being sent yet…
Is it a normal behaviour with the plugin?
Here you can find a print screen (the form is on footer)
Thanks a lot
Hi, Im trying to find out how can I track facebook pixel “contact” with this plugin, thanks!

Hey,
I’ve been testing your plugin: Contact Form 7 Submission DOM tracking
And I’ve uninstalled & removed it – but I’m still getting redirects on submission of forms (even after purging all caches).
It’s adding ‘#wpcf7-f508-p8-o1’ to the end of the page upon all submitted forms being sent.
If you can help us get this removed, and have everything go back to normal – we’d greatly appreciate it.
Kind regards,
Jamie
Hello,
First of all thank you for your plugin !
I’m having a hard time getting the Fb lead working, so far after few trials I have this error :
“We detected event code but the pixel has not activated for this event, so no information was sent to Facebook. This could be due to an error in the code, but could also occur if the pixel fires on a dynamic event such as a button click.Learn more”
I must be missing something out and would love to get it working.
Best,
Hi, I am using Google Tag Manager for WordPress.
I installed this one, set it up, and can’t see anything happening in my analytics real time dashboard. I wonder if I must try further or if it does not work with GTM
Thanks

Hi!
Is it possible with your plugin to limit to 1 success submission by logged in user and limit to XXXXX total submissions by form ?
TIA
Cheers
Phil
Hi total newbie here! I’d like to be able to create an audience of people who have clicked on my FB ad, visited the page of my site where I have a CF7 form for registration but then did NOT register ??
I have the latest WP, CF7 , this plugin and Pixel Caffeine installed
I’ve got a pixel ID and put it into Pixel Caffeine. I have then put the page slug of my contact form into the settings for this plugin. Using Chrome’s “pixel helper” plugin I see:
One pixel found on https://www.mxxxxxx.co.uk
Facebook PixelView Analytics
Pixel ID: 21xxxxxxxxx9
PageView
ERRORS
We detected event code but the pixel has not activated for this event, so no information was sent to Facebook. This could be due to an error in the code, but could also occur if the pixel fires on a dynamic event such as a button click.Learn more
EVENT INFO
Pixel Code: Show
Pixel Location: Show
Frame: Window
I also see the following code in the source:
<!– Facebook Pixel Code –>

<!– End Facebook Pixel Code –>
I assume the pixel is therefore being loaded.
How do I then create the ad and events firing properly so that I create the correct audience so I can retarget them?
Hi there,
Your plugin doesn’t record Facebook leads when using the PixelYourSite plugin. Can you have a look at this please?
CF7 says to load the script in the head area or with wp_head, however when the code loads, it’s much further down by like where the end body or footer is. See: https://contactform7.com/tracking-form-submissions-with-google-analytics/

Hello,
i setup the plugin and its amazing thank you for making the plugin,
i saw it sends events to google analytics, however i want to convert that event directly to goals, i tried setting a goal and i filled these as mentioned in the plugin setting:
Goal category: Contact form 7
Action: sent
label: URL of the contact form
Value: {i left it empty}
i filled it exactly as above, but once i fill the form on my website, it does only fire an event and not goals. i hope you can help.
Hello,
I have now setup the DOM plugin for CF7 and it appears to now be working. As it stands right now I am able to see how MANY forms are being submitted but I am not able to determine WHICH forms were submitted. For example in the previous ON SEND OK command I obtained the following:
Contact Form->Sumbit->Name of Person->Monetary Value
I am OK with forgoing the monetary value but I’d very much like to track the Name of the person who’s contact form was submitted. Ideally I’d be able to do this by Passing through the Title of the Contact Form with the URL. Is this possible? If Not how else can I obtain more granular tracking like I had before?
Appreciate your help
Rich

I also installed the Facebook Pixel plugin Version 1.7.7.
How do I know if the submission event has been properly recorded by Facebook ?

Once i enables the two GA checkboxes in the plugin, it stops firing the ‘Lead’ event. How do i enable both things?
I’m using MonsterInsights with my GA.
Activating the plugin produced a fatal error described here:
Fatal error: Can’t use function return value in write context in /home/inrete/hoteladler.it/wp-content/plugins/cf7-submission-dom-tracking/contact-form-7-s-dom-tracking.php on line 20
Please help
Plugin is not activated
Thx
I have installed your plugin on my clients website and the goal tracking from the forms appear to be working well. However, in the settings under ‘customize tracking options’ there is an option for:
URL to track the page view (default: “URL of the contact form” + “/ok/”)
I have left this blank but now the plugin adds a URL into the javascript in the footer of each page with /ok/ at the end of the URL. Google Search Console is now flagging hundreds of 404 errors, as they are trying to crawl these non-existent URLs.
Can someone advise me on how to stop this from happening? I assume I have not setup the plugin correctly and should be putting something in this field, rather than leaving it blank, which is causing the issue.
Thanks
Michael
Hello there,
I am using your plugin on our website to track Download via Contact Form 7 But it is showing ‘Lead’ tag in red color. Please check the screenshot – https://www.screencast.com/t/BLPTcO9YA
Can you please check and let me know how to fix this?
Hello,
is it possible to track a Contact Form submission depending on the given subject?
So in case a service provider offers his services to private people as well as companies and would like to distinguish between these requests. So the employee would choose “company request” as subject line and an individual “private request”. And this should create different events inside GA.
Best regards
Do”es this require Googme Tag Manager to work?
I read elsewhere that was the prerequisite to get DOM work on CF7.
(But I d’ont want to use it as it does not work with my cookie approval system)
Thanks
You might want to take a look at this error (fixed it for me, but for the distribution..)
Fatal error: Can't use function return value in write context in ..\wp-content\plugins\cf7-submission-dom-tracking\contact-form-7-s-dom-tracking.php on line 20
It’s on a local installation BTW (if that makes any difference)
Hello there!
Thanks for this plugin – I had been searching high and low for a way to track my contact form 7 leads with FB ads.
I’ve been using the PixelCaffeine plugin for a while now, but not able to track contact form button clicks as LEADS on my site, consistently. No Pixel events are seen on Facebook. Sometimes I see it, but other times I don’t see the “lead” event firing in the Pixel helper chrome extension.
Can you please check and tell me why?
Thanks,
Tara
Hi, could you please explain how or where to put the Pixel conversion code with this plugin? Thank you.
