Firstly, thank you for picking up this plugin since it went unsupported. It is one of the essentials!! I have updated the plugin to 4.11
I have a form with 2 file upload fields. If I add a document then the form looks like it is sent, but the data is not recorded to the tracking database nor is an email received. If I don’t include a file then the form works.
That said success message isn’t actually shown, but I think that is a separate issue.
I have a form with an attachments field, and I see in the admin emails that users have uploaded files.
Where in WordPress admin, or on my server, do I find these files?
Also, when I try to download my form submissions, I get an error:
access restricted.
Please help.
Hi,
i’ve created a simple registration form to register for an event.
This event is held 2 times a week and each event can only have a maximum of 6 attendees.
i would like to use the same form for each event, so i don’t need to make a new form for each event.
But i would also like to make use of the “Submission Limit” feature to limit the number of attendees to 6.
How can set this up?
Thank you
Hi,

I’m trying to upgrade to cforms 14.6 by following the FAQs from the developers site:
Upgrading
Before you are getting ready for an update, you should…
Make a database backup (this is always a good thing to do!)
Keep a copy of your old cforms plugin folder
Deactivate cforms
Upload the new version
Reactivate it
However, I get this error when trying to upload the new version:
Unpacking the package…
Installing the plugin…
Destination folder already exists. /home/tender/public_html/wp-content/plugins/cforms/
Plugin install failed.
I can’t seem to figure out how to change the email addresses to which the submissions will be delivered. Anyone gotz the answer? (Thanks.)
can any one help me on how to convert the data entered in cforms to convert into posts?
thnks in advance
I have a form with a simple selection of a pair of radio buttons (true or false).
I would like to have the following validation occur:
if the user selects the incorrect answer and submits the form, the form throws an error indicating the user has supplied an incorrect answer.
This ensures the user can only successfully submit the form if the correct radio button selection has been made.
Any help would how to achieve this would be great!
I apology if I’m overlooking something here, but I can’t seem to find cforms on the www.ads-software.com site anymore.
Has it purposely been removed?
Is there a way in Cforms to print the form as a pdf document? If this can be done including the data all the better, but at least the form. I tried another popular plugin: Print Friendly and PDF, but it completely ignored the Cforms generated form…
I have 12 forms on the site, recently I have added 3 forms for which I get the e-mail notifications but at the back end its not tracking the forms.
I have cleaned up the back end, and also increased the limit from 32M to 96M, but still it was not working
Please help.
Hello,
I have problems with Cforms plugin it’s hagning IE8 – the problem is reported by many users, but I cannot replicate it on my machine. I have IE8 also installed, but works fine on my machine.
Site where the problem occurs is here:
https://techknowkids.com.au/booking/
Other sites where I use plugin seem to work fine.
Are you able to replicate the issue, and/or point possible reason of this behavior?

I need someone who can fix the settings array pulled from the database. In wp_options, option name ‘cforms_settings’. It is somehow corrupted, but I need my forms back…
I can email you the database value.
Thanks in advanced.
HI – I put together a site with cforms on one server and then moved it all to another. There are a couple places where Cforms still has the old site URL and this is creating errors. I suspect I just need to delete the plugin and install again, but I’m paranoid about losing the forms. Any insight? Thanks.
In Cforms2, in the tracking section, I really like the “Form Submissions” table. I want to make that visible for my users so they can search through entries, much like the DB add on for CF7. It seems like this should be an easy task but I have no background in this.
thanks.

I can build forms with cforms and I can retrieve results from the cforms database, but what I want to do is have a matrix that facilitates retrieving results for visitors. The matrix would have responders’ names along the vertical and questions along the horizontal. I want to set it up so that visitors can click in any cell of the matrix and get a page with the responses that correspond to that cell. I hope that makes sense. Has anyone tried to do this?
Thanks.
So I was doing a Google search for one of sites with cFormsII installed and discovered that the directory cforms uses to store uploads from the forms (wp-content/plugins/cforms/uploads) were being indexed by Google. While this wasn’t a HUGE security threat – it was quite disturbing to see the documents show up in several different searches.
And definitely – not something we want public!
I’ve updated the robots.txt to disallow the directory and included an index.html in the folder as well that includes a meta tag for no robots to index the page (or directory?).

I also did a search of the directory itself (with no domain) and apparently a number of other sites are having this problem as well
wp-content/plugins/cforms/uploads
I’ve removed all the files from the directory to be safe. And I’ve also requested Google remove the entire plugin directory from their indexing in case there’s something else out there that might be floating around.
Not even sure where it’s getting a link to the directory from. Any ideas? Is this a setting in the plugin somewhere? I’d hate for future forms uploads to be made public as well!
Dear All
I have confirmation letter form with one of field name Time, the value is 10 – 14 pm
When I write to confirmation it’s like this
“the event is held on {Time}”
everything ok when it’s text confirmation
when I change to HTML it’s like

the event is held on {Time}

But the result is not 10-14 PM but current time
Is there a way I can use Time as the name of form and make it right as use to be?
thank you
hi,
The tracking link of the cforms is being redirecting me to
wp-admin/cforms/cforms-options.php?page=cforms/cforms-database.php
instead of
wp-admin/admin.php?page=cforms/cforms-help.php
This is happening only when i login as ‘non admin user’ with plugin ‘ozh-admin-drop-down-menu’ is enabled.
Please any body can suggest me a fix.
I’m using cforms for a catalog request form and there is a field to enter in a address, city, and zipcode. It works perfectly, except, when you enter a zip code that starts with zero (03725), the results come back in the admin email without the first zero (3725). Any idea why this is happening?
On my website I keep on getting this persistent CformsII error:
jQuery(".cf_date").datePicker is not a function
https://domain.com/
Line 44
On that line in the source I found:
jQuery(function() { Date.format = "dd/mm/yyyy"; jQuery(".cf_date").datePicker({startDate:"01/01/1899",verticalOffset:10,horizontalOffset:5,horizontalPosition:1 } ); Date.format = "mm/dd/yyyy"; });
Which is in cforms.php
Wonder if it conflicts with another plugin..
I am running CformsII Version v11.6.1. All was well, until I wanted to adjust an email address in CformsII admin. I found out AJAX was no longer working for Cforms (does run for the rest of the Dashboard). All form data was displayed as standard text and boxes. No harmonica effect no nothing. Started a topic at https://www.deliciousdays.com/cforms-forum/troubleshooting/admin-seems-broken-all-of-the-sudden-no-ajax-running/ . But I thought, maybe someone here had the same issue and knows how to fix it. Found this JavaScript error:
jQuery(".cf_timebutt1").clockpick is not a function
https://domain.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=cforms/cforms-options.php
Line 54
Does anyone have the same problem? Solution found?
I am using the latest CFORM plugin and am having an issue with ordering a form I am tracking.
My code is:
$array = get_cforms_entries(‘my form name’,false,false,’id’,15,’desc’);
The form post is not ordering in desc, it is displaying in random.
Anyone know what is going on?
I have a cForms II contact form set up. It works perfectly if I just want the results emailed to myself (default behavior).
I now have a custom PHP file that will take the POST data from the form and submit it to an external database for me. However, when I set the Alternative Form Action page to this PHP page, clicking the Submit button just causes the form to hang.
How exactly do I pass the form data to my own PHP file while still keeping AJAX enabled (so form validation works)?
Cheers!
First off, I must say I’m very impressed by the usability and flexibility of the cforms plugin. I’m using to created a subscription form for a client for a congress. Subscriptions get saved to a database and the client then uses the tracking feature to export the data in CSV or TAB format to Excel.
When I installed the plugin on a WordPress installation on my local development server (WAMP on Windows), everything worked like a charm. However, now that I’ve migrated the site to the live server (Apache on Linux) I’ve run into the following problem:
When I go to the tracking feature in the Admin pages the submission data doesn’t load. Instead, the message “Processing, please wait” never disappears.
I have checked in phpmyadmin that the form submissions are properly saved in the database.
Perhaps related to this problem is the following (non-essential) problem: On my development server, submitting a form using Ajax worked. On the live server, submitting forms only works with the Ajax option turned off.
One other thing I checked was the “download records” button in the form tracking section. Clicking that initially showed an error message saying I should change the permissions for the file plugins/cforms/js/include/data.tmp. I changed the permissions but the “download records” button still doesn’t work. Clicking on it now shows a blank page. Perhaps there are other file permission issues which cause the above problems?
I’d be really grateful if someone could help me out here, I’m really have no clue how to solve this.
