This plugin does not work anymore (in my case, it may still work for other users) and the developer is not responding to support-requests …

I updated to WooCommerce 3.0 and began to experience many problems which I had to tackle one by one – One of the problems was that the Product Permalinks was “Product Category, Product Name” before. It then automatically changed to “Product/ Product Category, Product Name” – Which completely messed up my website and search engines went to 404 links. I couldn’t change it back – so I finally found this plugin – didn’t have to do anything else apart from install it and it completely solved my problem! Thanks a bunch!.
One question – Is this a permanant fix for all those links that are on search engines? Will they eventually change to the correct links and will I experience any problems moving on?
Thanks!

The WP 301 redirect thingy wasn’t working on a whole load of old permalinks that included dates, which have since been removed. I installed this and they were sorted instantly. No set-up, just wash and go.

In my case an entire live site was setup with a permalink structure that included /blog/ in every url. The client wanted this to change as “It does not look professional”. The site had been live for several years and I did not want to lose any SEO or inbound links that existed by changing all of the permalinks to remove /blog/.
This plugin simply solved the issue and it works! The redirect to the new url is seamless. – Just install, activate and change whatever you want in your permalink structure. Brilliant!
