I’m using the shortcode in a Text widget. How can I control the width of the gray area behind, so the thermometer and its title appear centered in the widget? It is not occupying the full widget space. And it’s a few pixels from being aligned to the right.

Also, the widget title appears below the thermometer.

When I visit my page using my mobile it displays two, not one (which my laptop shows correctly). It just shows the thermometer twice, which I am wondering how do I fix?

Also, how do I center it?

PS. It would be nice to see the ability to have text around by the side, it doesn’t allow it currently.

Sorry to take up your time, but I still cannot figure out how to get the thermometer to be placed further down the page.

I’m running WordPress 4.0.1 and using a TwentyEleven Child theme on a localhost PC.

I’ve looked at a number of posts but I still cannot place it correctly.

I’ve looked at:

I placed the thermometer using a shortcode on my page, but it is showing up at the top of the page.
I’m using Avia Layout Builder with my Enfold Theme.
I have placed the shortcode in a Text Block content element in the middle of my page.
But the thermometer shows up at the top of the page above, my slider and other content. Do you have any suggestions?

I had to remove it but the location I would like to place is where I have a standard progress bar on this page:

Is there a way to center the text? Everything is left aligned and the “current” amount is so far to the left that it is outside the gray box. I tried it on Chrome and IE with the same result.

Thermometer works fine on laptop browser, but when I visit the site on my iphone I don’t get the thermometer, just the actual shortcode text (e.g. [wpch_thermometer id=”30″]).

I’m using the Parabola theme for this, and the shortcode has been added to the Extra Text field on the Presentation Page.

I’m trying to add the termometer on my page gopalcare.com.au/2013bikeride/ however it keeps aligning up the top to the right, i want to move it down so its only starts in align with the Stacks the Law Firm banner is and the info above it spreads out normally across the page. Any ideas?

I am trying to make a website that has stories submitted by journalists and they get to pitch a donation for their reporting.

The donors donate through Paypal and we need a plugin that shows a progress of how much has been funded for each article.

Is it possible to customize the thermometer so that it doesn’t monitor money? I don’t need any monetary symbols. I actually want it to record a whole number of registrations with a goal of 120 registrations being needed. Right now we have 22.

There are a few issues I would like help with:

1. When I add the shortcode to a text widget, and give the text widget a title, the title appears below the thermometer in the sidebar, not above

2. I would like the option to create a thermometer without a Title, but your plugin has set Title as a mandatory field

3. I would like the option to create a thermometer without a target amount, but this is also set as manditory

I can see the thermometers on Google Chrome on my website but when people use Internet Explorer to access our website they only see boxes and no thermometers.

Let me add more. You can see 2 thermometers but only one whole one. The other is missing the actual thermometer. It has numbers only. Also, I can’t seem to move them anywhere. They stay to the right on my page. I can’t center them or move one above or below or to the left.
