Hi. Thanks for your plugin. We used it on a network of sites and it helps us easily see what posts are in draft mode, etc.
I found a weird little bug in the plugin this week. I had to disable plugins one-by-one to identify that it is the Chief Editor plugin that causes the issue. Here is what is happening:
I added password protection to a page on our site. As soon as that is in place, in wpadmin when I click “All Pages” (https://www.mysite.com/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=page) it loads the list of pages briefly but then after about 2 seconds redirects to the list of posts, and the URL changes to this:
https://www.mysite.com/wp-admin/edit.php?post_title&post_name&mm=03&jj=02&aa=2016&hh=00&mn=57&ss=35&post_author=-1&post_password=secretpassword&post_parent=-1&menu_order=0&page_template=-1&_status=-1&_inline_edit=62c50f4766&post_view=list&screen=edit-page&comment_status&bulk_edit=Update
Where “secretpassword” is the password on the password protected page.
If I remove the password protection from the page, then “All Posts” loads correctly. As soon as I put a password back on any page, it redirects “All Pages” to the URL shown.
It’s not a major problem, as I don’t use password protected pages very much, and will be removing the password off that page soon. But wanted to let you know what was happening.
]]>I’m a school teacher who set up a multisite with my class. I have a main site and about 30 student blogs.
The Chief Editor is doing a fine job of showing the students’ posts and comments all in one place.
Unfortunately, the “Authors” tab is not working. I get the following message:
Warning: Missing argument 2 for wpdb::prepare(), called in /home3/mrtoftca/public_html/mrtoft2015/wp-content/plugins/chief-editor/admin/chief-editor-admin.php on line 318 and defined in /home3/mrtoftca/public_html/mrtoft2015/wp-includes/wp-db.php on line 1154
I haven’t found any solutions specific to the Chief Editor plugin and would appreciate some guidance.
