This plugin does exactly what I need, only I have hundreds of old campaigns I don’t want to import. Also don’t want to delete them from MailChimp. Any way to import some-but-not-all campaigns? Maybe just a single folder?

]]>Hey there –
Really looking forward to getting this working. I tried to import our newsletter campaign to the plugin. The progress bars are fluctuating, but it doesn’t seem to get to a completion point. How long does an import normally take on a longer campaign with videos and lots of graphics?
Hi! Thank you for making this plugin. Just installed it – and it seems to be connecting to Mailchimp ok (everything chimpy!) but when I try to import a campaign, I get this error message: “Cannot continue as campaign does not seem to have a subject yet!” I tried other sent campaigns (which all have subjects) but each get the same error. I tried to duplicate one in case sent campaigns couldn’t be used, but that didn’t seem to be the issue either.
So then I tried to add the FTP credentials in Settings, but I get the error “FTP credentials invalid” – I only have the url (no ftp:// or https:// or www.), the username, and the password, which I’ve tested in an FTP program and it works fine, so I don’t know why it’s showing as invalid. WordPress is intalled in the root directory, so I left the filepath blank.
“Compose” seems to work at first, but gets stuck on step two and won’t continue.
But really what we’re most interested in is getting the import feature to work, so if you can help us fix that, that would be grand! We’re hosted on GoDaddy, and running the Divi theme, if that helps. Many thanks –
I would like to be able to import my newsletters into a post or page, but the HTML import function on this plugin doesn’t seem to work very well. Has anyone managed to import the newsletter and keep the HTML/CSS intact?
]]>Thanks for the plugin.
The message “Invalid MailChimp API Key” appear when I enter the API Key.
It seems that the field is to short. When I paste the key obtained from my account the last digit of the key (the las zero from …..-us10 ) does not fit in.
I’ve also tried without the -us10 sufix without success.
Can you give me some advice to solve this?
I’m using the plugin version 1.6.3 with wordpress 4.1
Thankyou.
Best regards.
NO templates are loaded in the “select campaign content to import” – Mailchimp API key is ok and connected “Everything’s Chimpy!” ..but not working since no templates are loaded !!!
]]>Hi and thank you for such a great plugin!
I’d like to import/export to/from CPT.
Would it be possible to add support for that?
I can help with the PHP but can’t deal with JavaScript for now…
Look forward to hearing from you.

]]>Hi there,
I am trying to integrate a band’s previous E-mails into their new website.
Using the Chimpexpress plugin I am getting 2 results, neither of which are really satisfactory.
Please see the link:
https://www.ilikeclimbingtrees.com/treemail/
The bottom post – is from Chimpexpress without the formatting.
The post above that – is from Chimpexpress with the formatting. (This seems to be missing some of the content however, and also seems to be styled partly by my theme stylesheet)
The top post – was taking from the “view on browser” source code of the actual email sent out, minus the HEAD section.
The top post causes the white bar to appear for some unknown reason at the top of the screen, which from what I can figure out is coming from an external stylsheet, but I cannot see where exactly from and wish to remove it somehow.
Also, how can I get the content to fit within the content area that I have created, as any adjustments I have been trying have still left it overflowing the content area.
Thanks
]]>My wordpress version is 3.9.1 and my ChimpExpress version is 1.6.2. After selecting the template and defining the campaign name and subject in compose mode, the next button is working fine but on the next screen, wordpress tries to open the editor but get stuck. Firebux says the following error “c is undefined”. If I ckick in next buttom firebux says currentContent is not defined
]]>How to integrate Contact Form 7 with ChimpExpress/MailChimp?
An easy way and solution will be the great, like a shortcode/checkbox [mc4wp_checkbox “Your label text”] with the label ?Would you like to suscribe?
Hi All,
I downgraded from WP 3.9 because ChimpExpress was broken.
In v3.7 the email I have composed is wider than the mailchimp template (600 px).
Does anyone know if there is a way to fix this? Otherwise, what version of WP should I downgrade to for my client.
Thanks for your help. The plugin support forum has stopped accepting support posts.
]]>Hi,
I came across your plugin because I wanted to publish a blog post to mail chimp. It gives me this weir error code:
from_email – Please enter a value (error code: 311)
Any idea what the problem is?
Thanks

]]>I had to disable several Mailchimp plugins during the current major Mailchimp outage because they appear to hang up and freeze the whole WordPress backend under these conditions. Simply logging into the WP dashboard results in it hanging up, as if there is no timeout for the Mailchimp API connection.

Several of us have left message (email or Chimpexpress Forum) for assistance. We have not heard back from them. We wonder if Chimpexpress is no longer being supported???
If so, we need suggestions new plugin (free or paid).
]]>Hi at all,
After doing the first step “settings” I got some JS Errors in the console:
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'canvas' of undefined
admin.php:8
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot call method 'getContent' of null
admin.php:33
Uncaught ReferenceError: currentContent is not defined
and the wp_editor is not loaded properly.
This error prevents sending a campaign as excepted.
Has anybody found a solution for this yet?
Would really appreciate it!
When I try to import a MailChimp campaign into WordPress I get an error. From the Import page I select a MailChimp campaign, select options (create a blog post, import as HTML) and click the ‘next’ button. I get a popup dialog box that says:
“Please enter a page title!”
But there doesn’t seem to be anywhere to enter a page title.
]]>You need to change or, better yet, omit your usage of menu position in add_menu_page().
It basically overwrites the position of any custom post types. Best practice is to omit this parameter and let your menu flow to the bottom of the menu.
]]>Just wanted to add: am setting this up and wanted users with Editor role to be able to access ChimpExpress. Believe I have accomplished this with use of the User Role Editor plugin (by checking box for the ‘manage options’ capability).
I also am using Post Control to hide menus and post options not necessary for Editors.
