The slider button is not functioning in Firefox & Chrome if a laptop has a touchscreen and mouseclick event is used.
The browser detects an existing touch functionality and triggers ‘ontouchsstart’ in /public/assets/js/public.js, line 172:
if (‘ontouchstart’ in document.documentElement)
This disables the click detection, and assures only touch recognition, although a mouse can be used on Touchscreen devices too.
I don’t think there is a need to separate click and touch functionality through this ‘if’ statement. Please check this part, and make correction.

The light box form is returning the “https://www.thesaucesuppliers.com” error, but the form in the footer is working fine. They are both set up the same way in the chimp mate admin panel.

Greetings and many thanks on an awesome solution for Mailchimp integration. While at first it seemed to work smoothly, I’m now running into some confusing issues. This involves two users (myself and my client) who are seeing some disparity on the pop-up form. To avoid any further confusion with what is going on, I have disabled all rules concerning the module. It should now show for anyone (subscribed or unsubscribed state) with no reappear discretion across all breakpoints.
User 1 (me):
- Macbook Pro AND iPhone 8
- Google Chrome AND Safari
- Sees the pop-up on desktop and phone
- ON DESKTOP ONLY: Able to enter an email address (subscribed or unsubscribed) and receives a status verification message within the pop-up upon hitting “Submit”
- ON PHONE: Upon entering an email address and hitting “Submit”, the task never completes and the loading icon hangs indefinitely
User 2 (client at another location):
- Macbook Pro AND Android AND PC
- Google Chrome AND Internet Explorer
- Sees the pop-up on desktop and phone
- ON DESKTOP AND PHONE: Upon entering an email address and hitting “Submit”, the task never completes and the loading icon hangs indefinitely
As you can tell, this has been frustrating a I am unable to replicate the desktop issues but we both see the same hanging issues on our phones.
Things get a bit more complicated when rules are in place, but I figure we should start solutions here and work our way towards that complexity.

Hello hope this message finds you well. Here is my issue:
The plugin isn’t displaying text such as “Name” or “Email Address” in the opt-in subscribe box. The box simply is a blank white box. Due to this being confusing for some people, I’ve needed to only use one box and mention providing an email until I get this fixed.
The live editor feature looks perfect and the text is present. However, when I save my settings and view the live page it’s still a blank white box.
Any thoughts? Thank you so much.

since some time ago, chimpmate plugin functionality revealed backwards compatibility issues.
I had already setup widget subscribe box that used to work for more than 2 years, but now the text has been unexpectedly modified to the default. Moreover, i cannot update options to edit form or disable subscribe box.
I even tried resetting the plugin options and re-enter API and all other info, but even if i click on update options button successfully, nothing is saved when navigating in another wordpress admin page and return to chimpmate plugin.
Any help would be much appreciated.

I found that I can enable popup on button click as described here: https://voltroid.com/support/knowledge-base/chimpmate-open-on-click/
The problem is that I don’t have option “Enable on click” in Behavior so my popup doesn’t work when I click on button with #chimpmate-lightbox class.
All options in behavior setting are unchecked. If filters by page type are unchecked too then nothing happens and lightbox can only be shown automatically if some filters like “pages” checked. But I want lightbox to popup only on click.
Is it a premium feature or am I doing something wrong?

I can’t either change the slider nor the lightbox through the plugin or remove them at all. When entering a valid e-maild adress, the following error occurs “An unknown error occurred processing your request. Please try again later”.

This plugin is awesome, so i decided to buy the pro version of this plugin. But before buying i have one query with example.
I have setup plugin for homepage only.
Suppose visitor opens our website for first time and he/she triggers the popup, but when the same visitor opens our website again the popup is appearing for he/she again.
I know there is an option called behaviour where if i set 1 day using Cookie the popup will not appear for same user in next 24 hours.
But what i want the popup should never appear again for subscribed users. If user just closed the popup it should appear after certain time (which is set in behaviour) but if user have been subscribed then it should never appear again for the same user.

]]>So we have the popup live on the site (triggered on homepage only), but is there a way to have this popup not trigger upon every page hit for the same user? like a session based or cookie based experience so it only triggers ONCE for the same customer and not every time they hit the same page?
Example, if a customer lands on our site for the first time (homepage) and it triggers the popup, and as they navigate around the site…..if they eventually go back to the homepage, the popup triggers and opens again. Is there a way to have it so the popup only triggers ONCE per user?
