I downloaded chitika plugin to my note 4 android but I can’t run it. in the extract file, I only have index.php, premium.php readmetxt and screenshot-1.png
how can I run the plugin so I can view it in WordPress.
is it supposed to automatically show up under plugins in WordPress? if so, why hasn’t it after the download of the 2.2 version
I try to login into the infolinks account and it keeps sending me to upload the plugin into my wordpress website, which i already did and the ads are working. Only it doesn’t appear like it’s working on the chitika website. ??
]]>I installed the Chitika plugin and came across the same connection errors that everybody else in the forum seemed to have when validating credentials. After inspecting the source code, I found that the chpremium_test_username function within premium.php was trying to connect using curl, SSL version 3. The $data variable is returned as false, so by checking the curl error:
error:14094410:SSL routines:SSL3_READ_BYTES:sslv3 alert handshake failure
This probably was turned off on Chitika’s server when SSLv3 was found to have security issues awhile back: https://access.redhat.com/articles/1232123
Navigate to about line 568 AND 595 in premium.php, and replace the curl option:
curl_setopt($curl, CURLOPT_SSLVERSION,3);
with:
curl_setopt($curl, CURLOPT_SSLVERSION, CURL_SSLVERSION_TLSv1);
These changes worked on my installations and the ads are served correctly.

It’s the error message when I update the plugin. I did what error message tell but didn’t work at all. Ads are not showing at the moment. :/

how to display only Hover ads in my websites?
As far as I know, Hover will be displayed only when the plugin is activated and set up correctly.
In the plugin settings I must choose one option to display classic ads (like the 550×250 MEGA-Unit) and so in my websites there are that MEGA-Unit and Hover together… But I want only Hover alone…
Is it possible with this plugin? Or what do I have to do (I can understand PHP/Javascript if needed)?

I’ve used the Chitika ads plugin for my site – https://www.naadanchords.com . I’ve placed an ad block in the sidebar and on top of each post (individual post page). The ads are working perfectly in desktops.. but are not appearing in mobile devices. I tested it on an iPhone, an iPad and an Android mobile.
I checked my Chitika dashboard.. mobile ads are enabled

]]>After activating the plugin and selecting ad placement, when I update settings on the settings panel, I get this error “Warning: curl_setopt() [function.curl-setopt]: CURLOPT_FOLLOWLOCATION cannot be activated when safe_mode is enabled or an open_basedir is set in /home/evolvef/public_html/wp-content/plugins/chitika-premium/premium.php on line 538”. I have checked while updating another plugin that the server safe mode is turned off. What should I check/do?
