I was looking at this plugin to see if it could help me set up a little section of a website for lending out books. I created a brand new WordPress site and installed the plugin, added one book for testing purposes, and a page with the [bookshelf] shortcode.

That page does display the books, but when clicking on a publication I get a page not found error when it tries to load the acutal page.

I installed the plugin to my site and i was having a problem with it because i use simple permalinks so the page that i have the plugin is something like <webaddress>/?page_id=1455

So when the plugin was posting form data this param was omitted. I manage to overcome this problem by changing you code and i am wondering if you would like to send you a file with the changed code.

Also when you view a book you can checked it in no matter if you are logged in or not. I fix that too so only logged in users can check in and Out the books.

And a feature request, if you can have a way to view a list of the checked out books.

This plugin is just the one I was looking for our website. We have a small library of about 400 items (books, magazines, dvds). Unfortunately, when I use the shortcode [bookshelf], I get a JSON error. The website is WP 6.2.2.

When the page is published, I get the message, The bookshelf is empty when I know there a couple of books for testing purposes.
