I just posted this in the Classyfrieds forums. I also tried to email you, but your domain is not working. We go on TV in less than 24 hours. We only had one week to build this site and are working around the clock to try to finish it.
Please help me with the below.
1. There are a number of strings that I need to translate that are not in the translations area of the plugin.
Examples include : “category” https://solidariteperruques.fr/annonces/
“tags”, https://solidariteperruques.fr/classyfrieds/cheveux-bruns-courts/
“view”, https://solidariteperruques.fr/classyfrieds/cheveux-bruns-courts/
“my active listings” and “delete this listing”, from within the account under the users listings.
“Browse”, “No file selected”, when adding a new listing from the front-end.
“add to content”, “change subtitle”, “author”, “EDIT” from the edit a listing popup on the user side. Also, why does it not show the author’s name and instead shows the user ID number?
I tried codestyling localisation plugin but it blocks classifrieds and I cannot access the .mo files through it.
I am afraid to change the plugin files as I don’t want an update to erase the work.
2. When you try to edit your listing as a user, you cannot change the title. Why is this? How do we make the title editable from the edit listing?
3. How do we give the title more characters? At the moment we are limited to a certain number?
4. Translated strings still keep the title tag as the english version. These should change with the translated strings.
Please answer as soon as possible. I need this rush.
Note: I purchased 3 or 4 of the plugins and am a paying customer.

My trouble is, that when I try to reply (in this case to my own ad), the reply does not get to my hotmail inbox.
Is it because I use a hotmail account? I′m concerned about this, so many users use this kind of account.

I have classyfrieds 3.8 installed. All has been great, until recently. Several users have contacted me to let me know that they have received spam replies to ads.
I have it set so that only registered users can place ads, but is there any way that I can restrict replies to ads to registered users only?

]]>I am using version 3.8 of classyfrieds and am finding that the wp editor within the upload form won’t submit any formatting on the text.
I am using the most recent version of the standard WP theme: twenty twelve.
You can see a test classyfrieds listing here where I tried to format text via the WP editor in the upload form:

I have been trying without success to designate the Listings page of classyfrieds as the default/front/landing page of my wp site.
I see you have done so at:

I am using the standard twenty twelve theme with a new install of both wp (3.5) and classyfrieds 3.8.

I can designate page-1 as a “static front page” within the theme settings but when I do so, I see nothing, no listings.

]]>Hi, I love this plugin to death. It does what i need but i have an issue. When I viewed it using Firefox and Safari, it worked but i am viewing via IE8 and the listing page has left alignment and i’m missing the navigation buttons in the bar. Is there a way i can solve his issue?

I would like to to be able to switch on and off which individual classyfrieds listings are going to be FEATURED via the wp admin after the listings have been posted and published and not leave this up to users to select as an option at the time of posting via the upload form.

Now i’ve created one listing and add_listing for the companies
how can I create a second listing and add_listing for people wishing to look for work .
there seems to be only one style of upload form..
my question is can i have one for employers and also another for companies ?

]]>I would like to be able to upload 5 photos instead of 3.
I have version 3.7 of Classyfrieds installed and am currently modifying the necessary files to see if I can customise the number of images/photos per single listing on my own.
I followed your code doing manual searches on any relevant code that related to the 2 and 3 foto/image(s) and carefully copying/pasting/editing to read 4 or 5 foto/image(s). All seemed well until I modified the form_upload.php. However, I can’t see anything in it that I have done wrong, so was wondering if perhaps the init.php file is the culprit.
Is this edited line of code for the init.php kosher?

I tried to post this on the support forum on your site but could not which is why I am posting it here.
I would like the “add a listing” page to show as a drop down on the menu to the main Classifieds page. I set the “add a listing” page as the child of the main Classifieds page and thought this would work. I did not change the permalink. However, when I click on “add a listing”, the upload form does not appear, just a blank page.
Is there a way around this?

]]>I have the sidebar fun plug in installed but the classyfrieds admin keeps registering “sidebarfun widgets not detected” even if I flush and reinitialise.
The sidebar widgets appear to be working but I am concerned that the functions won’t actually run. For instance, the expiring soon or whatever.

]]>I’m having a problem with the classyfrieds_single layout displaying correctly within the Avada theme I am running on WordPress. All other pages works as expected:

until I go to the single layout then I get this massive white block with the actual listing way down the page:

I have tried adding clear both in several places but to no avail.
For some reason, within the wrapper div id on the single listings pages, the header, and the div class of row and logo coming from the Avada theme are given a height of 318, 318 and 287 px respectively.
Not sure why this is happening or if this is even the issue or not.

]]>Listings expire, but do not go away. They are still viewable in the listings page, even though I have the time duration set at “1 Week”. Instead of a days listed after the 7 days have passed, it says “listing expires in ?? | ” this in the bottom of the posting.
Is this an error on my part and my settings? Or is this a bug?

]]>I’m planning on using classifrieds on a new local (UK) site I’m working on, but the default currency (Euro) doesn’t work for me – I need GBP (￡).
Rather than me digging through the code and replacing the Euro with a “￡”, and then having to do that every time there’s an update, could you please add this as an Admin option?

I just installed your plug-in, but I’m not seeing a link underneath ‘Posts’ in the Admin UI – or anywhere else – so I’m unable to create any categories etc. I’m using WP 341 and the twenty-ten theme, if that helps.
