By default, Clean Machine Archives displays as:
month year
* day title
I want to remove the bullet so that it becomes like this (demo example):
mont year
day title
How do I accomplish it without removing bullets from other non-archived bulleted lists?
If I enter the following code in style.css, bullets will disappear from all bulleted lists (in posts, on pages) which I don’t want. I just want to remove bullets from Clean Machine Archives.
.post ul {
list-style: none;
}

How do you remove the comments part from the archive section? Currently, we do not allow comments after each page says “0.” We want to remove that.
]]>Hi!
If I use your plugin with event
type posts created by the Events Manager plugin, they are ordered by two criteria in the same time: by the event time and by the posting time. You can see what I means here: https://infopsi.md/arhiva.
Did you quit this plugin – it no longer functions in 2017. If you quit, please disable the plugin so no one else downloads it.
]]>Do you have a list of all of the short code settings for the plugin? I support a church that wants to have all of their bulletins to be accessible so there are over 3000 to look through. I would like to have a selection where the archives can be searched by tags, topics, month-year or year with a drop down to year month. Not sure if that is coded to your plugin or not. By the way, it’s about as smart of a plugin I have seen on WordPress for solving this archive issue.
]]>Hi, I would add two functions
Add shortcode for All post count
that’s number how many articles published on the blog – shortcode (This function takes as snazzy archives)
option to not showing comments counter
i use
.clean-my-archives .comments-number {
display: none;
}
thank you for your response
]]>Hi. I really like this plugin. I’ve been using Clean Archives Reloaded for some time, and Clean My Archives reduced the number of queries from 3,500 (!) to around 70. Much better performance all round.
The only reason I’m reluctant to switch, however, is because Clean My Archives displays the archives with the most recent at the top. I run a site with a lot of historical entries going back to 1926, and want the oldest to be at the top.
Is there a way to reverse the order, other than using masses of shortcodes containing year=”xxxx”?
]]>Is there a way to change the way the post date is displayed. For example instead of just showing the day it was posted is it possible to show the month/day/year it was posted.
Thanks
]]>Firstly, thanks for a clean working plugin with an elegant output. It’s working great here.
Is there any way to exclude posts in a particular category from showing up in the archive list?
Thank you,
Alec
Plugin breaks page with shortcode in WordPress 4.0
]]>Hi
I have 122 published posts but only 30 or so are showing up on the archive page with the short code.
The most recent 30 or so are not displayed. The most recent is January this year but the most recent 30 have been published Feb – Apr.
Is there a glitch with WP 3.9 or something particular to my site?
Thanks
]]>I’m not an expert, but I know enough to get where I need to be. In this case, I use WP as a CMS and blog at the same time. In my archive list, I’d like to display all the blog posts only, not the content posts we’ve written. In other words, I’d like to display an archive list of everything in my parent category=14.
In the plugin file, I’ve managed to change the way the date is displayed (‘jS:’) and removed the number of comments after post title. But figuring out where in the code I can force this plug-in to only list archives from one category is a little above me. Any suggestions?
]]>I’ve been using Clean My Archives on a single blog and it’s perfect. Now I am converting that blog to a multisite on a local test platform.
The archives page is now displaying excerpts on the MS, while on the original single site excerpts are not shown.
I’m not sure what is causing the different behavior. I am using the exact same theme, code snippet and page attributes. The only difference is the multi-site. I’ve tried activating the plugin network wide, as well as deactivated the network and activating only on the MS blog I want to use it on.
Am overlooking something painfully obvious, or is this a known issue?
I’m still learning about multisite, so apologies in advance if my expectations are unrealistic. I could find no reference to multisite issues in support or reviews here.
]]>hello
I have w3c validation errors :
End tag p implied, but there were open elements.
End tag li seen, but there were open elements.
etc
my page contains only the short code
Do you have any ideas how to pass the test ?
Thanks
Is there a way to suppress the the number of responses to posts from being displayed? I’d like to use this on a site that uses WordPress as a CMS, but I can’t because it lists a “(0)” after each title.
