Hi,
Thanks for creating this great plug-in. I’m using it for Varnish on the Byte.nl servers.
Unfortunately it doesn’t play well with the WPML plug-in and the option to use a different domain per language. The cache is only emptied for the main language (that is: the URL where Byte activated the Varnish mechanism for) when we update something in the WP Dashboard. For the other languages we have to go to the Byte panel and manually empty the whole cache.
I wouldn’t mind a rough solution/option that empties the whole cache every time we do an update for any language. Right now it doesn’t do anything for the languages that are on a different URL.
]]>Hi 42functions,
We’re running WP on the Varnish cluster of Byte and we also have a forum, in /forum, running op IPS4 (Invisionpower Systems). I’d like to exclude /forum from Varnish (since user sessions won’t work with Varnish in our setup) is that possible in your plugin settings or does it only apply to WP related paths?
Thanks!
]]>Goedemiddag Support,
Wordt deze plugin nog wel ondersteund voor de nieuw versie van WordPress 4.4.2. ?
]]>We’ve updated the plugin from v1 to v1.2.1 last Thursday 19th.
I’ve closely monitored the settings to stay the same over the update.
Few things I noticed directly after the update: the settings page has additional fields; a Cache expiration, purge policy for comments and author.
I left the Cache expiration blank, purge policy for comments and author disabled, rest all default.
Since then the cache was not purged, even though the Purge policy for posts was set on Front Page & RSS2.
Today I’ve set a max Cache expiration for 1 hour, hopefully this will refresh the Cache at least once every hour.
Can you give me a clue for what went wrong, or how I can debug this process?
