When adding the shortcode[mstw-cs-table staff=varsity] the table comes out blue and does not conform to the site colors and I am unable to change it in the settings any help would be appreciated
]]>Hi! I get a fatal error when updating to 1.4 of the Coaching Staffs plugin. All other MSTW have been updated to latest version and seem fine.
I have tried restoring the 0.3 version and the updating again, same result.
I have checked the time zone setting in general tab as noted, and it is associated with the nearest city, so that should be fine.
I’m running wordpress 5.3.4 and php 7.0.
Any idea what might be the issue?
Hopefully this is a quick and easy one and a complete miss on my part.
For whatever reason I have been unable to get any photo other than a default club logo to display for any of the coaches I have created across two staffs.
I did replace the default-photo.jpg plugins > coaching-staffs > images directory. That image shows for all the coaches I have setup for both staffs; bu-rugby-coaches and bu-rugby-e-board.
bu-rugby-coaches –> https://www.binghamtonrugby.com/coaches/
bu-rugby-e-board –> https://www.binghamtonrugby.com/executive-board
What am I supposed to name the picture file for a staff member and does it need to be a specific type to work (jpg or png)?
I have tried the following for one of the bu-rugby-e-board staff members; Nick Coppola.
Put both nick-coppola.jpg and nick-coppola.png in the plugins > coaching-staffs > images directory.
Any guidance and assistance would be greatly appreciated.
]]>When we first installed the coaching staff plugin you could click on the coach’s name and it would take you to his bio. The link’s have disappeared. Could you please let us know the best way to get those back. Here is the link to the page https://lightningbaseball.us/coaches/
Thank you

Hi, First of all, I’d like to thank you for your excellent work on the plug-ins. They are great!
I’m using the “Coaching Staff” plug-in (and team roster and game schedule…) for my team website. On the coaches gallery page, when I add a featured picture, there’s broken HTML tags showing up after the coach’s name, something like ” width=”200″ height=”200″ />. The coaches without picture, or if I remove the picture, everything goes back to normal.
Is this a bug? Any workaround?
You can view my coach’s page at this URL: https://lakesidebbc.azurewebsites.net/staffs/15ucoaches/
]]>I love your coaches plug-in! This team I am building a site for has close to 40 coaches that I have created bios for. Currently the edge of the photos in the coaches table protrudes beyond the established “photo” column. I would like to remove the picture on the coaches table (pics are too small), however I want the photo to still be seen on the Coach’s stand alone bio page.
I went to the display settings and selected “hide” photos on the table, but the photos
remain seen. Please let me know what options I have or if there is something else I can do to remove the photos.

Many thanks
Dan Farley
PS… Love the field locations plug in too!
]]>Hello, I am trying to get the Gallery feature to work and I am not sure where the problem lies. I understand it will not work on the shortcode and I have moved both template files into my theme main directory.
I have also reset permalinks and everything and it is still not giving me the gallery look that I would like. Am I missing a step? Below is the page im referring to.
]]>Upgraded to the Schedules and Scoreboards plugin and had to deactivate the Coaches plugin for the Colors admin page to have effect. When i went to reactivate the Coaches plugin to see if the problem still existed i got a fatal error. I deleted the Coaches plugin and reinstalled and get the following error trying to activate:
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare mstw_build_css_rule() (previously declared in /home/content/96/8112196/html/landrumbaseball/wp-content/plugins/mstw-schedules-scoreboards/includes/mstw-utility-functions.php:124) in /home/content/96/8112196/html/landrumbaseball/wp-content/plugins/coaching-staffs/mstw-coaching-staffs.php on line 195
Hi, since yesterday I’m having a proble with this great tool. On the admin panel appears the next message:
Notice: Undefined index: show_title in /hermes/bosoraweb187/b1819/ipg.softbolargentinaorg/index/wp-content/plugins/coaching-staffs1/includes/mstw-coaching-staffs-admin.php on line 858
What should i do?

]]>I have two different coaches galleries running on my website and both only show the first five coaches of each coaching category.
One category has six coaches in it and the other has over ten. How do I make it so every coach shows on his/her respective page?
]]>I’m sure it’s due to my lack of experience, but I cannot get the coaches’ gallery to work. I’ve got the staff table working and the profiles, but I’m not sure how to create the gallery (which is really what I want instead of the staff table). Can you tell me what I’m doing wrong? I reset the permalinks as suggested, but I still get a 404 error on this page (hopefully I’ve read your instructions correctly for the pathname):
https://cdkideas.com/stlredbirds/staffs/staff-redbirds (slug is redbirds)
Staff Table is here: https://cdkideas.com/stlredbirds/redbirds-staff/
Thanks in advance!
]]>Posting out what I hope is hopeful information if you are using this plugin.
The “Profile” heading value doesn’t seem to have a display setting in the settings page. It is controlled in the mstw-cs-styles css file under .coach bio. The “color” property below controls that heading under the h1 (which is that lightish blue found on the sample page).
.coach-bio h1 {
padding: 0 15px;
font-size: 18px;
font-weight: bold;
color: #1982d1;
}
I was also having troubles with line spacing within the bio section. I added a line-height property to the css and removed the font-size value.
.coach-bio p {
padding: 0 15px;
/*font-size: 12px;*/
margin-bottom: 1.5em;
line-height: 1.5em;
}
This helped the readability of the bio section on my site.
]]>Hi Mark!
Thank you for your great work!
Coaching Staff is the only one of your plugins
that need the role of “administrator” to be managed.
I need to allow the editor to edit and add coachs.
How can I do it?
Thank you in advance.
Zak
I loaded the plugin.
I copied the templates to theme Folder/templates.
I created a new coach under coaches.
Created a page with short code [mstw-ls-table staff=staff-slug]
Do I have to create a slug and use it in the short code?
What steps do I need to do to make the gallery?
1) Add coach
2) Add short code for gallery on page
3) display page
So I installed all 5 Plugins: Coaching Staffs, Game Locations, Game Schedule, League Standings and Team Rosters.
Is there any way to link the information from one plugin to the next?
For example with ‘Game Schedule’ I am given the option to select a Location from ‘Game Locations.’ I find that very useful.
However, if I was to enter ‘Team Rosters’ I can’t select a team that I entered in ‘League Standings.’
Or if I am I was to add a new game within ‘Game Schedule’ it doesn’t give me the option to select a team that I have entered in either ‘League Standings’ or ‘Team Rosters.’
I believe that all these Plugins can be very powerful and useful if they were combined as one. But for now I would really appreciate feedback in regards to what could be done to make data entry most efficient.
Hi,
The plugin won’t hide titles even when I select the option “Titles: hide”
If there’s a shortcode version for it I’d appreciate it ??
(I understand it’s version 0.1 and not necessary fully bug-free)
Thanks
